Chapter 35: Curiousity

SO MANY QUESTIONS yet there's no one who can answer. There are so much mysteries but she's unable to think where to start. So she decided to unravel herself by starting where she grew up.

Yes, hidden homes. Her underlying reason is to find answers about her. Its been a while since she's thinking about herself. She was held by worrying the Hoterio, so now... maybe she rest a while thinking Hoterio is safe at the Realm Lux.

Avria heaved a sigh loudly.

"Lalim ah? Problema?" Barcus asked then sat down next to her.

They are now facing the lake under the moonlight while sitting down at the grassy ground.

"Lahat ng tao may tinatago." Avria muttered out of a blue while looking above the crescent moon.

"Bakit mo naman iyan naisip?" Barcus asked curiously then pick up a small stone and throw it to the lake.

"Wala lang. Its just a statement. Barcus?"

"Hmm?"

"Why do people hide a secret?"

"Hmm... because secrets are meant to be hide. It won't be secret anymore if its not hidden." Barcus answered then tilted his head to looked at Avria who look so lost and solemn.

"Bakit mo pala natanong Avi?" He asked.

Avria snickered. "Bakit kailangan may sekreto? Hindi ba pweding sabihin nalang ang totoo?"

Barcus sighed. "Because there are some secrets that are meant to be hidden. That secret may either cause pain or despair."

Napatingin si Avria kay Barcus. Matalim niya itong tiningnan. "Ikaw Barcus? May tinatago ka ba sakin?"

A gust of a cold wind blows while both of them are staring each other.

Barcus gulped.

"MARVIN, do you think this battle will end?" Vicky asked Marvin who is lying down at the recliner at the relax lounge in Granny Grandy's mansion.

Hindi sila makatulog lahat kaya nandito silang lahat sa lounge maliban kay Barcus, Jazzy at Avria. Vicky and Samantha are squating down at the carpet while hugging a couch pillow. Hugo is eating chips while attentively listening to the conversation. Shaina is lying down using John's lap as a pillow while also listening the conversation. Leon is leaning back at the couch while his head is leaning at the head rest and was closing his eyes but is half awake. While Heppig is already asleep.

Marvin smiled, full of possivity. "Yes, this will end soon."

"Such an optimistic person." Hugo muttered.

"Well, I am." Marvin said proudly then turned around sideways, facing them.

"How can you say so, Marvs?" John asked.

"Because it will." Marvin answered firmly.

"Do you think so? Hoterio lose." Samantha said factly.

Vicky snickered. "Of course Sam, this will end soon. Right, Marvs?" Then she looked at Marvin.

Marvin smirked. "Yes. Hoterio may lose now but the we'll stand up. The better and stronger."

Leon smiled lopsidedly. "I pray for that if gods are true, Marvin."

"They are gods Leon." John stated.

"Right! We have." Shaina agreed.

"Tch! I'm an atheist. A non - believer of almighty. How can I believe it if all the mystery of earth was explained by science? Too see is too believe." Leon replied sardonically.
