I am leaving to join Harry on tour tomorrow, I am so beyond nervous. Everything I do is going to be seen by millions of people. If my work isn't good enough, my thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. I got up and walked to the door, wondering who it could be.
"Hey Harry." I said opening the door wider for him to come in. "What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be on tour." I said to him as he walked over to my bags.
"You are suppose to be leaving today." He said. I looked at him confused.
"I am suppose to leave tomorrow." I said to him as he started packing my photography stuff. I pulled out my phone and looked at the date Jeff sent me. "Holy shit!" I said scrambling to pack everything. "I can't believe I did that." I said giggling. He joined in.
"We all do it, don't beat yourself up over it." He said grabbing the bags that were done being packed, putting them by the door.
"Do you not have a show today?" I asked.
"No my next show is in two days. So I decided to come and get you so you don't have to fly alone." He said.
"Awh so sweet." I said pushing on his arm playfully. Making us both giggle. Once I was done packing my bags, we both picked them up and made our way to the front desk so I can check out. Once I was done doing that we both got into the car that was waiting for us. On our way to the airport.
"Have you reached out to Louis?" I asked him. He said he wanted to really bad, I encouraged him too, but he was really hesitant about it. I looked at him, he was looking at me.
"No, I don't think I am going to. I really don't think he loves me anymore." He said, it broke my heart.
"You won't know that until you reach out to him, but that is not my place to tell you to do that. From the way you are talking about your love with him, there is no way that either of you could just not love each other." I said. I don't want him to push himself into getting hurt. I don't want to be the reason he gets his heart broken again.
"Maybe you are right. I just don't know how I would ever start a conversation with him." He said, I looked at him.
"It's easier than you think. I don't want to push you to do something that you will regret. It could be the reason that you are happy though. You never know what could happen." I said to him. I looked out the window and saw that we have approached the airport. This is where we have to keep as low of a profile as we can. Harry put a hat on, with some sunglasses. I don't have to cover myself but I don't want people to start rumors so I just put my hood up.
"This is so beautiful." I said looking out the window. Looking at the most beautiful view I have ever seen. I have never flown on a plain. Ever. I was never invited when my dad went on vacations. He didn't like to be seen with me. It hurts that my own dad doesn't love me, but at the same time I don't need him.
"What's your favorite thing about life?" Harry asked me randomly. I looked over at him.
"Honestly that's not an easy question. If you would have asked me a year ago, I would have said nothing. Today though I am going to have to say the mystery that it brings. At the end of the day, you don't know what tomorrow brings. That's the best thing. Like when I moved to New York, I definitely didn't see this coming, but I am so happy to be here today. I just wish my mom was here. What about you?" I asked him.
"The people. That's the best thing. I love my family and friends. The people that support me. Everyone in my life, they just bring me so much joy everyday. I couldn't imagine better people." I looked at him. Damn he has a good answer. A sweet answer.
"That's a good one. I like your answer." I said smiling at him. He smiled back at me. I know this, between us, is going to be such a great friendship. so many great memories.
"I am so glad that I met you." Harry said to me. I looked him dead in his beautiful green eyes, smiling.
"I'm so glad that I met you too." I said. He pulled up a movie on the screen and handed me one of the earbuds. "The Notebook. Such a classic." I said. He would be the rom-com type.
"My favorite movie of all time." He said. I put my head on his shoulder and watched the movie with him. Crying at the necessary parts, he cried too. He really isn't scared about being shamed for not being manly enough.
"What is your favorite thing about singing on stage?" I asked him, I am genuinely curious. I have always wondered the hype of it. I use to sing when I was little. My mom and I would have karaoke parties. Everyone said I had an angelic voice, I just lost the love for singing when she passed.
"When I am on stage, I see everything. The faces people make, the way they are actually enjoying the show. Knowing that I have changed people's life's makes me happy. It's hard sometimes, especially the lack of privacy. At the end of the day they have given me a job, and endless love. Seeing them in person is a special high. Hugging them, hearing their stories. That's the reason I do what I do. For them." He said. Wow! He surprises me everyday with how kind and caring he is.
"You are a prime example of what a man should be." I said smiling at him. Louis was a extremely lucky man, getting to experience that kind of love first hand. I need to see them together. I need to reconnect them. Make them at least friends again.
