"Liam!!", a voice yelled and I knew then that we were busted
"Busted", Liam whispered
"Uh-oh", I laughed
"Liam!!", the voice yelled again, I knew it was Mia
"What?", Liam asked nonchalantly
"What do you mean what!? You are gossiping about us with Blanca!", she screamed louder
"Liam put me on speaker", I laughed
"Alright", he said as he did as he was told
"Sorry Mia, sorry Suarez. We were just having some harmless fun", I pouted even though they couldn't see me
"Yeah, alright. But I don't appreciate you two spying on us", Mia scolded
"Uh, why not? It's not like the two of you are dating, and anyways I can do whatever the hell I want, you can't stop me!", I said like a child
"Oh really, both of you are grounded", Mia laughed
"Uh, I'm twenty..you can't ground me sister", I said in my sassiest voice
"Don't make fly to Queens, cause sweetheart I will", I imagined her cross her hands across her chest
"Sorry mom, I'll hang up now. Bye everyone", I smiled
"Bye Blanca", Mia laughed
"Hey and Suarez and Liam, please find the little Monero's picture soon, alright?", I added
"Yeah, yeah, bye", Liam said coldly
What happened to him, one second he is nice and we are having fun and the next second he is cold again
I hung up and sprawled on my bed
"Arghhh!!", I screamed into my pillow.
I picked my phone and started scrolling through my Instagram feed.
I found myself going through Cardi B's Instagram posts. Yeah, she is kinda my favorite rapper. The only rapper I actually like I sighed.
"Kulture is soo cute", I muttered. And soon I found myself falling asleep

The next morning
I woke up with a splitting headache I opened my eyes, but immediately shut them again
"The fuck!", I grumbled when I realized my blinds were open, and the sun was peeking at me. Almost as if it was trying to make fun of me
"We are not all morning people, sun" I muttered to myself
I took a cold shower and threw on some jeans and a short-sleeved shirt, I felt like planet earth was 20 kilometers closer to the sun today. Like what the heck??
I grabbed my purse, and the second I picked up my power bank, I remembered Ethan
"Oh Ethan, we'll have to meet again soon", I murmured as I left my hotel
I hopped into my car and drove to the café, I seriously need some caffeine in my system
After a 15 minute drive, I finally pulled into the parking lot of the café
I sat on the same stool again and almost immediately a man occupied the stool next to me
He groaned and sighed,
That sounds familiar, I thought to myself
"Waitress, do you have a charger by any chance", the man asked
"No sir, sorry", she offered a small smile and walked away
I turned to glance at him and I gasped, it was him...Ethan.
I turned to him and smiled
"This is not your day, huh?", I laughed
He chuckled
"It really isn't", he rose his head and smiled at me
"Blanca! It's you", he laughed
"Yes Ethan, it's me. Power bank?", I asked as I offered it to him
"This is soo embarrassing", he chuckled and scratched the back of his head
"Yeah, it kinda is. This is how we met for the first time.", I laughed. "Hey when we met you didn't give me your number", I raised my eyebrow
"Yeah, was kinda in a hurry but gimme your phone, I'll give it to you now if you'd like", he said as he offered his hand, I handed him my phone and he typed his number
"Alright Blanca, call me. I called myself so that I can get your number.", he returned my phone. Our fingers touched and I felt something explode in my stomach
God, I have never felt like this before, and I only feel like this around Ethan
"Alright Ethan, I'll call you", I waved and left

That night
I was just done taking a bath when my phone vibrated on my bed
I picked it to check who texted
Ethan: Wanna go out for dinner?🍴
I smiled when I saw that it was Ethan. I thought about it, this would be the best time to tell him how I feel about him
Blanca: Yeah, sure. Text me the address.
Ethan: Nah, you text me your address, I'll pick you up and we'll go😏
Blanca:😂😂😂. Alright, I'm staying at the Hawthorn House Nantucket Hotel. I'll meet you in the lobby...
Ethan: I'll meet you in 30 minutes. 😉
Blanca: See you then😊
I checked the time. "Five fifteen", I muttered and threw my phone on the bed and smiled, wow I've been smiling a lot lately.
I put on a short dress that reached below my knees, and a pair of heels. I did my makeup, using as little as possible. I hate makeup, I definitely took after my mother. I put my hair in a ponytail, leaving a few strands on the sides.
I grabbed my purse and filled it with my essentials
I checked the time again.
"Five forty?!", I almost yelled
I immediately run downstairs and there he stood, in his black suit. His hair was perfectly combed back. His back was turned to me so I decided to play a bit
Blanca: You look nice, turn around
I saw him pull his phone out of his pocket, he chuckled and turned around. I placed my phone in my purse, walked towards him, and laughed.
"Blanca, looking as smashing as always", held his hand palm up and I placed mine in it. There was that feeling again
"You don't look too bad yourself", I smiled as we walked to his car
I couldn't help but notice the car had Christopher written behind it.
I blew a breath and mumbled a thank you to Ethan as he opened the door for me to sit. He closed the door and jogged to the driver's side.
As we drove I kept thinking about the name behind the car, I decided to ask him about it
"Ethan?"
"Yeah?", he looked at me briefly and turned back to the road
"Is your father's name Christopher?", I asked, feeling uneasy
"It was Blanca, it was. He's dead now", his beautiful blue eyes darkened, his hand tightened around the wheel. His jaw kept clenching and unclenching as if to keep himself under control
"I'm soo sorry. May his soul rest in perfect peace.", I offered a small smile and he smiled back
Just before I could say anything else, my phone vibrated in my purse
I checked it, "Mia", I murmured
Mia: We found it
Blanca: Huh?
Mia: We found a pic of the little Monero
