Mia: We found it
Blanca: Huh?
Mia: We found a pic of the little Monero
Blanca: Don't kid with me, Mia
Mia: I would never do that Blanca, I swear
Blanca: Alright, send it. And take the early morning flight to New York, I will meet you at the airport tomorrow
Mia: Okay

After she sent me the last message my phone turned off, which is weird since it was fully charged. Because of how happy and annoyed I was I didn't notice when Ethan stopped the car and opened my door

"Thank you", I said as I placed my hand in his.

"So where are we? Never been here before", I said as we entered. The smell of different foods hit my nose and the decor was simply stunning
"Hmm, well I own this place.", he smirked

My jaw was probably on the floor by now but I didn't care
I recomposed myself and smiled at him

"Oh, I see", is all I managed to say before he pulled a chair for me to sit

About an hour later we were eating dessert when my phone vibrated in my purse

"Ethan, please excuse me for a second", I said as I got up, he nodded and I went to the washroom, only the Lord above knows how I found it without getting lost. This place is freaking huge.

I called Mia back
"Hey girl"

"Finally! Where the fuck were you!?? I called you and your phone was freaking off, like really Blanca?!", she screamed at me

" Sorry girl, my phone turned off by itself and I couldn't turn it on. Soo sorry Mia"

"You're just lucky I love you. Now I'm sending the picture, see you tomorrow Blanca"

"Yes bye", I said
"Bye", she answered and we hung up
I put my phone back in my purse and walked back to our table

"I'm sorry, I had to call someone. I hope you don't mind", I said as I sat back down

"Not at all Blanca. So-", he was cut off by my phone vibrating again
"Ethan, I'm sorry, I need to check this. It's kinda important"

"Go ahead, I'm not going anywhere", he laughed

I checked my messages and saw that Mia had sent me a picture, it was still loading though

Mia: That's his picture above. I'll be there tomorrow by 9 am

I waited for the picture to load and when it finally did, I was shocked
"What. the. fuck??", I muttered, this has to be a sick joke.

I immediately stood up from my seat and ran out of the restaurant, with Ethan behind me shouting after me
I stopped a taxi and hopped inside
"This must be a mistake", I muttered after I told the driver where to go

Ethan has been out a while. I will kill the woman who has stolen Ethan from me.

I sat on the couch and started to doze off when Ethan came in.
I stood up and ran to him

"Ethan are you alright?", I asked as I cupped his face
He moved out of my grip and went to the bar for a drink
"You alright?", I asked going to join him

"Does it look like I'm fine?!", he exclaimed, gulping down the vodka in his glass

"Did your date stand you up?", I smirked

"No, in fact, she almost got in bed with me, I was just not interested", he said with a little sarcasm in his voice
"Don't screw with me Ethan", I said as I glared at him

"Already have, and multiple times too", he said and I blushed
"You know what Ethan, go fuck yourself

"I'm not in the mood to talk to you Lola, I'm going to bed", he said as he walked upstairs to his room
Something must have happened on that date. I just couldn't believe it when he told me that he was in love and was ready to move on with her. He has refused to tell me her name or show me her picture.

He thinks I'll track her down and hurt her, well he's not wrong. I wanna put a bullet in her head just like I will with Blanca. Someone will have to die in the next week, or my name isn't Lolita Rodriguez. I used to idolize that bitch, but dad was right, she is a despicable person, just like her father

The next day
I stood at the airport waiting for Mia to arrive, still thinking about the picture yesterday. I was looking around for Mia when someone shouted my name

"Blanca!!!", the voice screamed and I turned around and took off my sunglasses

"Mia!!", I exclaimed as I ran to hug her
We hugged and started towards the car

"It has only been like a week and already missed you Blanca", Mia gushed as we drove to the hotel

"Yeah, me too girl. Like it's soo boring here without you.", I admitted
"So, who was this lucky guy you were falling for?", she smiled up at me
When she asked that question my heart sank

"He's no one we need to discuss, I was completely wrong about him. And anyway our relationship was built on lies and deception. I can't be with him Mia, we both lied to each other on the first day. H-he is the son of my father's murderer. And there's no way I can be with him.", I didn't realize I was crying till a tear dropped on my lap. I quickly wiped them and stopped the car at my usual spot

"So what are you gonna do?", she asked quietly

"I'm going to finish what I started and keep a promise I made to two very important people in my life. We are going to get revenge for our parents, Mia, no matter what!"

"You can't kill the only man you have ever decided to give your heart to Blanca", she tried to reason
"Sweetheart, that asshole can never be the love of my life. Not in this life, or the others that my Lord might give me. That I swear."

"Alright B. Let's go inside.", she sighed

After she settled in the room and had unpacked we both collapsed on the bed, each lost in her own world until she decided to break the silence
"So what's the plan?", she asked
To be honest, I hadn't thought of our next move yet

"I have no clue Mia, but we'll think of something.", just when I finished that sentence, someone texted me

Ethan: What happened yesterday? Are you alright?😟😟

I rolled my eyes and sat up on the bed
"What's up?", Mia asked, concern on her evident on her face

I showed her my phone, a frown marring her gorgeous features
"I don't know what to do Mia", I sighed as I rubbed my face
"Does Ethan know you are Blanca Vermont?", she asked

"Nah, he doesn't, why?", I asked looking at her for an explanation
"Then it will be easy to trick him. All you have to do is call him to a secluded area, I'll take care of the rest. I've been waiting for this all my life, and I'm not letting it slip away", she said sternly and I nodded

Blanca: I'm fine, I just received some bad news that's all

He texted back immediately

Ethan: Alright Blanca, I hope I wasn't soo bad
Blanca: It was but I can't tell you over the phone. Wanna meet somewhere?
Ethan: Sure, text me the address
Blanca: Not today, tomorrow night maybe
Ethan: Alright😉👍. See you then Blanca
Blanca: 😊. Yeah, sure. See you then
