I postponed my trip to the Clemonte mansion for a couple of days because I needed some documentation to teach Clara Clemonte a lesson and bring her back down to earth.

"Blanca won't you please tell me your plans? You have been meeting lawyers all week. I'm scared for Lola and whoever helped her" Liam said again. This is like the fifth time this evening he has asked me this

"You'll know soon baby. Just be patient" I coaxed
"I've been patient for days, I can't be any more patient than this. I swear that if there ever was an award for patience, I'd win it"

"Liam..." he stopped me with his hand and got up from my bed. We were lying next to each other

"I don't want to hear it," he said and turned to leave, but stumbled back and sat back on the bed.
I sprinted out of bed and to him

"Liam be careful," I said and reached out to touch him but he held my hand
"Don't touch me" he said, dropped my hand, pushed past me and out of my room
I ran my hand through my hair and with a sigh sat back on my bed
"Our first real fight...and I caused it" I whispered to myself
"So just tell him," Mia said from my door. At first, that used to startle me, but now I'm used to it

"I can't yet. It's about his mother and you know that if he should find out it's about Clara he wouldn't be able to handle it"
"Is that it?" someone asked from my door and I could recognize that voice anywhere
I looked up in fear and realized I was right
"I asked you a question... Is that it?" he repeated

"It depends on what you are talking about" I answered when he came in
"Was it Clara who had Lola launch the attack on you? " he clarified. I cleared my throat and Mia walked out to give us privacy. He sat next to me and I answered him

"Yes... It was her"
He ran his hands through his hair
"I'm sorry I got soo annoyed with you. I just...I don't like it when you hide things from me. I'd like to be the one to solve all your problems and be strong for you" he confessed and I felt tears fill my eyes

"I love you, Liam," I said but he didn't look at me or say it back like he always does

I held his shoulders and turned him towards me
"I said I love you" I repeated
"I love you too Blanca" he finally said and I merged my lips with his

The kiss became heated and when he reached for the hem of my blouse, I knew I had to stop him

"Liam," I said into his lips

"Hmm?" he answered and broke the kiss

"Not tonight," I said quietly

He pulled back from me and stared into my eyes as if he was searching for something
"Are you alright Blanca?" he asked in concern

"Of course I am, why do you ask?"
"You're hiding something from me," he said and narrowed his eyes at me
"What? No, I'm not hiding anything from you"

"Okay then, let's go out for dinner" he suggested
He's definitely on to me. Because I have plans tonight. And if I refuse him, he'll know that he was right. But I can't postpone my plans any longer

"I'm sorry Liam-"

"I knew it. Where are you going?" he interrupted

"I swear Liam when I'm done with what I'm going to do... You'll be the first to know"

"You are going to see Clara, aren't you?" he asked

"Alright yes!" I said, finally giving in

"Then I'm coming with you," he said and started getting up
