"You know you're an asshole, right?" Stephanie asked when she came to stand next to us

"You say that like its a bad thing" Liam laughed and hugged Stephanie

"Where have you been?? And you call me the asshole"

They broke the hug and Liam wrapped one hand around me and I placed mine around his waist

"Third time in the day I've been asked this particular question. I'll explain another time, for now, I think we should get both of you home"

"You know I'll get it out of sooner or later," Liam said

"More like I'll tell you tomorrow. Can we leave now?"

"Yeah, I need to give this bastard the scolding of a lifetime," I said and Liam laughed

"And I'm prepared to listen to every word"

"Liam are you sure you're okay??" mother questioned again

"Aunt Bianca I'm fine"

"I should smack you for being so careless. But I'm just happy you're fine my dear"

"At least something good came out of this" Liam said and glanced at me, I was sitting at the dining table facing the living room. I couldn't stop the smile and blush that crept onto my face

"And what was that?" mother asked eagerly
"I got the love of my life" he answered

"What?? Who?"
He looked over at me and I shook my head, gesturing for him to not tell for now.

"Well, Blanca has finally agreed to buy my Range Rover for me"

My head snapped up from my phone to glare at him

"When did I do that? I did no such thing Liam"

"Are you sure?" he asked and raised his brow

I clenched my fists in order not to slap him, or drag him to his room by his hair

"The two of you are crazy. I'm leaving, you may fight among yourselves if you wish" mother said and left

When she was in her room, Liam walked over to me and sat on the chair right in front of me

"You're such an asshole," I said and he smiled

"So I've been told."

"Ugh, it's soo difficult to talk to you."

"Like I don't know that. Tell something new"

"I hate you"

"Really? A few hours ago you were confessing how you can't live without me, now you hate me? I'm hurt"

I groaned and got out of my chair
As I was walking to my room, he got up and blocked my path

"Where are you going to? I wanna know the truth, did you mean what you said?"

I closed my eyes, I had pictured this moment in my mind. This felt like a déjà vu

"Yes Liam, I meant every word. But you're not convinced, so I'll repeat myself. I love you Liam" and after I said that, I placed a kiss on his cheek and left

I could feel the blush that crept onto my cheeks as I sat on my bed thinking about the only man who stayed in my life.

Suddenly my door burst open and it revealed my crazy cousin and crazier best friend

"You traitor!!" Mia exclaimed and pulled me into a hug

"What did I do?"

She broke the hug and glared at me
"You confessed your love for Liam and didn't tell your best friend"
