-Maliki's POV-

I hissed under my breath as I picked up Oscar's beaten form. From what I could see his left back leg had deep scratches. His sides were covered in superficial wounds but the most pressing was his broken front right leg. I doubt he would be able to shift until it fully healed and that could take a day and a lot of blood especially if his body is more concerned with protecting our baby.

"Alphonse please take that to the cells while I take care of with Oscar," I said motioning towards the brown wolf that Oscar had beaten into unconsiousness.

"Yes sir" Alphonse replied his voice thick with emotion as he looked at Oscar's unconscious form.

"Your not at fault Alphonse, he'll be fine after a trip to the doctors and some rest. I know you would have intervened if he couldn't handle it" I spoke trying to put the older vampire at ease.

He had been with us long enough now and I trusted him with my life and Oscars. His concern was enough evidence that he cared.

"Thank you, sir, I'll get this one to the cells, please make sure Lord Oscar is healed" Alphonse responded before going over to the rogue wolf and dragging him up by his scruff.

"What about me sir," Dawn asked as I was about to walk away.

"Please go about your duties after you have cleaned this mess" I spoke gesturing to the broken ice magic and the blood of the rouge and Oscar.

"Yes sir" Dawn replied but I had already started walking, I wanted to make sure Oscar was in good hands.

Clutching Oscars wolf form further into my chest I sped to the manor. No doubt my mother would already have a room waiting for us. I was so proud of my little wolf he was stronger than he knew. Walking into the manor I caught the concerned look the rest of the servants. I had no time to stop and explain though so I rushed to the medical wing of the manor.

As I had predicted my mother was waiting with the doctors who quickly ushered me inside and asked me to put Oscar on the bed. Nodding I placed my mate down stepping aside when the nurses and doctors told me to. I kept quiet as they worked on him. It was harder to treat him as a wolf due to the fact that they were used to treating vampires and not werewolves but they weren't going to risk a ruptured bone.

"Son, I will stay here with Oscar you need to know why that wolf was in our territory, his mind is being shielded from my gift by powerful magic, so you'll have to do the interrogation the old fashioned way," My mother said as she laid her hand on my shoulder in a comforting mannor.

"Please inform me as soon as he wakes up," I said softly squeezing her hand before I walked away from her and into the hallway.

It was time I paid a visit to our guest. He would wish for a swift death if he did not give me the information that I wanted.  Walking down to the dungeons the servants gave me a wide birth as they felt my killing intent. As I got to the door that led down to the cells the guards nodded and opened the door for me.

Walking down the steps I heard the sounds of the werewolf growling and Alphonse talking calmly but I could tell that the older vampire was beginning to lose his patience. We didn't use the cells that often and the werewolf was the only prisoner here for now.

"Alphonse I'll take it from here, you can stay or return to your duties but it may get ugly" I spoke as I got to the cell holding the werewolf who was glaring daggers at Alphonse.

"If it's all the same to you, sir, I think I'll stay" Alphonse replied electricity crackling around his body.

"As you wish" I conceded before turning my attention to the spitting and snarling werewolf who was now in his human form.

The man was large with muscles roping underneath his skin. He had been given a pair of trousers which I was thankful for. He had dark brown hair and dark eyes that were filled with malice.

"What are you supposed to be, the vampire police" The werewolf snarled his teeth elongating as he tried to shift though the shackles bounding him made him unable to take his wilder form.

"I am Maliki Von Touran, now if you'll be so kind to as to tell us on your name" I hissed pulling on his shackles as I leaned down to look him in his eyes.

"Why should I tell you my name your nothing but a measly vampire" The werewolf spat a glob of spit landing under my right eye.

"You shouldn't have done that, I am already mad as hell at you for injuring my mate" I seethed as I tried to keep my gift under control as I didn't want to accidentally hurt Alphonse who was observing.

"You mean that omega, he sure is a feisty one, I'll be glad to take him off your hands when you get bored of him" the werewolf sneered licking his lips as if in anticipation.

His words were the final straw as the anger overpowered my rational mind. No one speaks about my mate like that. A wall of fire encircled around us, the fear on the werewolf's face allowing some amusement to slip through the fog of my anger.

"Will you tell us your name and you sent you, Lord Maliki may not be able to refrain from killing you if you make a second blunder" Alphonse stated from against the wall keeping his distance from my flames.

"My name is Tate, I was hired by a witch on the council to bring in the omega so they could test his genes" The werewolf stuttered as the flames got so close they were licking at his skin.

"That's better now it's about time for you to sleep" Alphonse spoke before nodding at me.

Grinning I let the flames die before I punched Tate with enough force to knock him out. The chair he was sitting on knocking on the back of the cell wall. I would be back for more information but for now, I needed to calm down and see my mate and fill my senses with him.

"Thank you for being the voice of reason Alphonse," I said as we left the cells.

"No problem sir, anytime. Now I will be getting back to my duties, please inform me when Oscar gets better" Alphonse replied before dusting himself off and walking back through the manor.

Shaking my head to get rid of my residual anger towards Tate and the council. I started down the way towards the medical section needing to see my mate. My steps were quick and fluid as I started to run towards my mate. When I got there I was happy to see Oscar in his wolf form sleeping peacefully and no longer appearing to be in pain.

Walking into the room I crossed the space between us. Pushing the chair next to bed I sat down. I knew it would be a few hours before he awoke but I would not leave his side.

"I love you little wolf and I will do anything to keep you safe, I would even take on the council for you" I whispered as I ran my fingers through his thick white fur.

The soft whine that answered my words made my heart constrict with love and devotion. I would do anything for the man I love.
