I'm actually falling

I'm in front of a big cliff and my father's behind me. He pushes me and I start falling, falling, falling. Right before I collide with the rough ground, I woke up. My eyes are frozen with terror. I realize I'm actually falling.

Someone had called the elevator from the ground floor. What time is it? I didn't have a single moment to finish that thought, and Nadia, the daughter of the family who lives next door to my father, walked in.

Nadia: You scared the hell out of me!

She says, and it does look like that's the case.

Erica: Look who's talking! What are you doing outside at this hour? It must be too late!

My question is somewhat unnecessary since I could conclude it. She was brightly painted and dressed really well.

Nadia: I went to a party.

He said and finally pressed the third button.

Nadia: You look familiar to me..

Erica: Yes, considering I've been living in the building for sixteen years.

We laughed.

Nadia: That's not what I meant.

She was in a hurry to sort it out.

Nadia: I think I've seen you this year at school.

Erica: Yes. This year I have come to your high school. You're in the second year, aren't you?

Nadia: Yes.

Even though we arrived, Nadia kept talking to me. I felt really happy. I haven't had a normal conversation with anyone my age in a while.

Nadia: I have to go now. It's been three o'clock, I'm in danger of my parents finding out I'm gone.

I smiled at her as I said good night without commenting on her slightly bold actions. Maybe it's time for me to take a bath, I'm thinking. I tried to be calm, but my ever-increasing heartbeat betrays me.

I pulled the keys out of my bag and carve my way to the apartment. Everything is dark around me and there is not the slightest hint of sound. I unlock and in the gel dark I crawl slowly, slowly towards the bathroom.

I get rid of my clothes which I make a tangle and put in the washing machine wishing they would be washed well and properly. I turn on the tap and let the ice water fall on me for the second time today. But this time I'm really going to get cleaned up.

I close the shower, and with mixed feelings, I see that the washing machine is over, too. Joy on the one hand that this out of the way and on the other anxiety about spending too much time in the bathroom. I had to go to bed fast or I'd be exhausted tomorrow.

At a fast pace I pick up the clothes from the washing machine and place them on me, wet and wrinkled as they are, clenching the teeth I evaporated from the apartment. Going back to my house, silently reprimanding myself for clenching my teeth, I have to stop doing this if I want to avoid a potential headache. I changed the wet and finally went to bed. I'm nervous about the next day's fatigue, so it's hard for me to fall asleep.
