Where's she, jumped down?

Officer: All right. We'll leave you alone then and go back to monitoring the site. It's really terrible that no one knows where the girl came from, we don't have any information about her, how she survives, or whether she attends school or anything.

Jason: It's really tragic!

He's commenting discreetly. Their voices are removed and the steps are assimilated to the sounds of the street. The front door is closed. A confucius of voices followed it.

Nadia: Where's she, jumped down?

She ran into the room and opened the balcony door.

Erica: Here.

I'm weakly disclosing my hiding place. I had not stopped crying, indeed, now it was more intense, my voice barely heard, weakened without a trace of capacity. She paddled the covers and threw them in ball form at the other end of the room.

She hauled me, made me nest in her arms, stroking my back with a fury that I was fine. Agitation, I could not react at all, my reflexes were zeroed while my vision also did not reflect reality, but a distorted portrait that did not correspond to an artist.

It was the creation of demons, terror and panic in their humiliatingly unspeakable truth. Loss of consciousness, zero awareness of your surroundings, the definition of vulnerability. I put a lot of time there until I could bring myself back into the world again.

The rest of the family was gathered around us and looked expressionless without showing any clear emotion. Fully dim and frosty face.

Nadia: I don't think it's a good idea for you to come to school today.

Erica: But how.. I have a test to write today...

Nadia: You shouldn't be worried about that right now. They're down, and we're not taking any chances today. I'll say you're sick, and until then, sit here and rest.

The tone of her voice and the posture of her body were reassuring. I was scared and weak, I couldn't cope with the simple demands of the day.

Erica: You're right. Get ready to leave quickly now so you won't be late.

She got up and left the room empty with the rest of them.

Erica: A Nadia!

She's moving her head at me.

Erica: Don't forget your morning workout.

I implied that she had to pretend today as every other day of the week, she runs in the mornings. She left a laugh and assured me that she won't forget it while the others exchanged a few more confused looks as they walked away.

Feeling the mild trembling still in my hands, I crawled to bed where I lay. Although I expected that after all this mess I wouldn't sleep, it turned out that my exhaustion won the battle, in an eyelid opening I had slept in.
