The recess didn't take long to come and we witnessed the former couple's fight. Nadia was ready to attack them, be their lawyer and defend Orpheus at any cost.
Erica: Relax, let them deal with it alone.
She stared at me, deep in my eyes, after making sure of my argument, she relaxed her muscles and settled into the back of the bench, she certainly didn't take her gaze off them. She became their silent judge.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We came home with Nadia and Orpheus. She stubbornly refused to let me go back to the elevator and wanted me to stay at their house today on the pretext that I was helping with her classes. She succeeded in her exam again.
Her dad was totally in agreement, Orpheus was indifferent and her grandmother was absent. She was in the hospital with Mrs. Eurydice. The situation was still critical. Her body temperature had dropped sharply and her face was blue. For a moment, she's completely out of breath!
We sat around the table and as we agreed we did everything we could to cheer Nadia up as we devoured another pizza. I think we've accomplished something since her sluggishness wasn't as evident as the previous days.
She seemed more energetic and later when we were studying, she was definitely more focused and at the same time more efficient. Thanks to this very quickly we were finished.
Nadia: Let's go borrow the book you were telling me about, my little bookworm?
Excited, I followed her to the living room where I exchanged rage with fury. She opened a cupboard to find some snacks.
Nadia: Almonds!
She took off a bag and ate one. Her face took on a strange look and put the bag in her place disappointed.
Nadia: It's bitter, I don't like these at all.
The time had passed. I had to go.
Erica: I'm going to practice.
Nadia: Okay, and I'm going to see Mom, then meet me right here.
We got out of the building and our streets were separated.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I'm going back home, rang the bell and waited for Nadia to open it for me, but instead I'm up against her grandmother.
Myrto: The girl from the elevator!
She said, slightly ironically, the blurry form I had in my mnemonic harmonically is concreted and smoothed.
Erica: Hello! I'm Erica, a friend of Nadia's.
Myrto: Oh, yes, I know you, she told me about you.
She's probably bored. The situation and more her behavior caused me discomfort, it was not the peaceful and hospitable place I was waiting for.
Erica: If I'm intruding, I can go.
I suggested in a polite tone. She should have kicked me out.
Myrto: No, sit down. My granddaughter will want you. Stay with me on the couch and I'll find out what kind of person you are.
In an uncomfortable way, as if my first day here is being revived, I place my body in the position it indicates to me.
Myrto: So let me know, do you whine often?
I'm trodging at her indiscretion.
Hello! Please vote for the chapters, you will make me very happy, those who already vote for me, or even just reading my story, I want you to know that you give me a huge amount of joy and courage to continue. Writing is my refuge. The elevator is a creation to which I have added all my love and is also my first complete book here on wattpad I hope you have as much fun as you read it as when I wrote it.
