What happened to him?

He had just entered through the door, his jacket hanging from one shoulder as it looked like he was about to take it off as he had done with his bag on the couch.

Nadia: Are you here Orpheus? Here with Erica, I'm showing her the book collection.

He's coming towards us, his jacket falls to the floor by itself, since he's in a hurry enough to leave it somewhere alone.

Orpheus: This book is mine.

With a sharp voice he announced and took it out of our hands. He walked away without bothering to pick up his jacket off the floor.

Eurydice: What happened to him? Did he get stung by a fly?

His mother came from the kitchen and picked up the jacket. Her question was rhetorical as if she made it more to herself than to us.

Nadia: He must hide something in there.

He must be right, there is no justification for such a reaction.

Erica: Well done to him, though! I admit, I wouldn't think of a hiding place like that.

Nadia: I'm not in a position to appreciate his ingenuity right now.

To say I don't understand her, I'm going to lie.

Nadia: Come on, let's go to bed now, I think it's time.

I slept on a mattress next to her. I confess this is the most comfortable sleep I've ever had. This morning I woke up and the pain in my leg had passed. Nadia shut down her phone, and we're getting ready for school quietly so we don't wake up her grandmother.

This woman sleeps early and wakes up late. I can't blame her, of course, because I know that if I had the chance, I would. We got to school, and even before we got into the yard, I see the trainer approaching me menacingly.

Gymnast: Erica, what happened and you didn't come yesterday?

Erica: I hurt my leg, didn't Orpheus tell you yesterday?

Gymnast: He told me, but I wanted to hear directly what happened to you.

Erica: Well, I didn't notice enough and I got hurt as I made a sudden move and I guess I got a mild injury.

Gymnast: Be a little more careful. You're better today, at least.

Erica: Yes, yes, it's all good.

Throughout our conversation, Nadia smiled at times and stared awkwardly at the trainer and back and forth.

Gymnast: Nice I am waiting for you and today then, don't be late!

Nadia: Finally alone..

She whispers, I agree with that statement. The bell rings and we went to our classes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The hours have passed and the third hour has arrived, the time of the test. I had chewed my lips all the way to find my solution to a complex question, and I continued as I wrote my answer. I tried to be well written and avoided a couple of words I wasn't sure about spelling them.

I look at the writing again at the end to correct any carelessness. My confidence went up sharply, with a drowned smile of pride, I walked to the bench and delivered it. I took my jacket off the back of my chair and left the room on the pretext that if I stay inside, I might make a fuss and annoy the rest of them.

So I'd have my time to work out some things better. I clasped my zipper and then I started sloppy and worrying to walk across the yard. There's really been so much going on these days.
