I have no idea

In class, I had a hard time concentrating, something that was unacceptable for me. My mind couldn't move away from yesterday's events completely, and that's wasn't because of my terror, but because of curiosity. I've tried too long to convince myself otherwise.

With that false impression, I'd be fine with my conscience. Either way, the question remained in my mind. What kind of robbers would leave a house because they realized someone was inside watching them? I have no idea.

And I can't talk to Nadia about it, she's already pretty affected.

Professor: And so you need to know this well, it's from the important. I was shaken from my seat, I had heard the keyword "the important".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Reccess, I was sitting with Nadia. We were talking about unrelated things, I was trying to make her forget and together get me distracted from all this. Her eyes testified to deeply hidden and increasingly repressed emotions. But why I could only locate one?

Shame followed by incalculable guilt. My efforts seemed to be gaining ground in her soul since she was still smiling among her countless yawns. But then he came to demolish what I built with love for her.

Orpheus: Erica, I want to thank you for what you did yesterday. You seemed to have helped my sister a lot and protected her.

His words awkwardly polite.

Erica: I didn't do anything great, you don't have to thank me.

Orpheus: And yet you did! No one else helped, and neither did the lady in the second. That unnamed pretended to be a good neighbor. Anyway... I'm not here just to thank you, as a family, we'd like to show our gratitude, invite you to lunch.

The last words were certainly pre-weighted, but I did't care at all.

Nadia: Yes, you thought right!

Orpheus: So, are you coming?

Erica: Of course I'll be there!

Orpheus: Nice! We're waiting for you this afternoon.

Nadia seemed to be happy, but only for a moment. From then on, she never laughed at any of the jokes I was telling her, she was lost in her thoughts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We'd go back, to Nadia's house. I was so excited about this meal. Not only because I would be with the family I admire so much, but also because I was really starving.

Orpheus: Wait for me.

I see him running, doing an imperceptible speed show, to catch up with us.

Orpheus: Let's all go back together.

This addition was accepted with great ease by both of us and the journey continued.

Orpheus: How was your day today, Erica?

Erica: Good, relatively.

Except I couldn't concentrate for any reason, and Nadia's mood was a mess. I saw Orpheus's desperate efforts to keep the conversation alive without any embarrassment between us, and I sincerely felt sorry for him. I didn't know if I had to cry at their sight or burst into giggles.

I pretended to have a good time. He's not a person I'd choose to hang out with. Luckily, we soon found ourselves outside their apartment.

Orpheus: We're here.

Mrs. Eurydice and Mr. Jason came to the door to greet us. The smell of food triggered the murmur of my stomach.

Eurydice: Welcome!

Nadia: Grandma? She's not here?

Eurydice: He had to go get the blood tests she did. Let's sit down now and she may come later.

Or if luck seems generous, she might not.
