I was walking around and at the same time collecting seemingly useless information about everyone, I see yet another lonely figure coming at me.
Nadia: Bad luck, huh? That one with the rain.
Erica: I wouldn't say it, probably expected.
Nadia: I hoped it wouldn't rain again. You see, I wanted to go for a walk with my grandmother in town, I missed her so much.
Erica: Yes, it makes sense.. Don't worry though, I guess you'll sit down long enough, you'll have plenty of time to do whatever you want.
Nadia: I want to believe..
She is looking skeptically at the door. It was open and we could see that the rain from a simple drizzle had become a whole storm. I couldn't help but think how hard it would be for me to get home with a downpour like that. Nadia doesn't seem too worried about that, of course.
The time passes without me noticing before I hear the signaling again for the start of the course. I'm starting to go to class, but I see Nadia showing no sign of moving.
Erica: We have to go to class the bell rang.
Nadia: Correction, you have to go to class.
Erica: Aren't you coming?
Nadia: We have religion and I have a discharge.
She said happily and rested for more comfort on the wall behind her. I smiled at her and walked away.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The hours have passed without you being able to tell them off. The lessons were all the same and the rain didn't stop or lessen, which worried me quite a bit.. At school end, as I was about to get a bath, I see Nadia waiting for me at the entrance holding a huge umbrella.
My face lit up, I thanked her, she didn't know how good she had done to me. The streets were flooded. We were walking down the middle side of the sidewalk to avoid the water that the cars were getting out of.
Although we made several attempts the rain still managed to soak us, but fortunately a little. I noticed entering the apartment building that Father's car was missing. He should be stuck in traffic. So strangely dry as I was, I went into the kitchen, ate as long as my stomach could fit and got some in my backpack for later.
I brushed my teeth, washed my clothes and took a relaxing bath. Maybe it should rain even more often if I were to have my peace. Now I'm sitting refreshed and doing my homework so I can finish before 6:00.Then practice will start and I want to be consistent on time.
That's why anyone who dared to set foot in the elevator was faced with the same question. What time is it? See, I didn't want to lose track of time like I did before. Fortunately, all of them were more than willing to answer me. Short and quick.
Three.. a quarter to four.. four and a quarter.. Five and a half. I thanked him like I did with the previous three and prepared my backpack. A sticky sensation on the inner back remained when I unsolder the paper that I first noticed: <Don't give your trust to anyone.>
