I landed in Busan at the exact arrival time. As soon as I get out of the airport, I looked for a taxi. When I was successful in finding one, I gave the address to the driver.
"Ma'am, this is far away from here." The driver scratched his nape.
"It's fine. I can pay in any amount." I answered.
From the front mirror, I saw the driver nod before propelling the car. Indeed, the apartment building that I will stay in is quite far from the town itself of Busan. The truth is that the apartment building is near our school where my medical school is located. Inje Univesity, College of Medicine.
I've planned this all for quite a prolonged now. I intricately maneuvered all of this so that I wouldn't get caught. Before the club incident occurred, this escape strategy of mine is already being fixed. Since last year, I remained working but at the same time joggling both reviewing and accomplishing my papers for medical school. I've already taken the SAT. I already have my suboptimal letters of recommendation from my previous professors. I already took the interview for the medical school of Inje University and it's a matter of blessing that I passed.
When I passed, I covertly purchased an apartment unit and the appliances I needed. While I wasn't still living in my apartment before. Hence, I asked for the owner to take care of all of it so it can still be maintained. Just like what I've stated, I came prepared in this war. I confidentially plot all of this ahead of time. Therefore I'm hoping everything will go rightfully in my favor.
"We're here, Ma'am." Said the taxi driver.
I looked my way to the apartment building before giving my payment to the taxi driver. As soon as I departed from the taxi, I watched at the apartment building. It's a simple apartment complex. Distant from the extravagant condo that I have before. Way too different from the bloated aristocratic mansion that my Father owned. This is my new life. The one I am asking for.
I marched my way to the entrance of the apartment complex. The lobby was peaceful yet sedate. There is a touch of a fussy victorian but there is a certain modernized cavernous neo-industrial in it. It was not that grand but decent enough to be described as home.
As I walked my way towards the front desk, a woman from her 30's greeted me with her peaceful aura.
"Good day! You are?" She asked.
"I'm Rosé Park. I'm that new tenant of one of the rooms of the 10th floor here."
Her face lit up. "Oh! Yes! I've heard about you!"
She doesn't probably know me because the one that I talked to last month wasn't her. It was the owner and she's just around the late '20s. The woman in front of me now is different and older.
"Sorry if I didn't know you. My sister is the owner and she doesn't stay here. I, my mother, and the maintenance are the ones taking care of this flat building."
