In the next few days, I wasn't able to contact Doc Jaehyun often. I'm just busy and hands-on with my medical school stuff. Same goes with him, I guess. Nevertheless, every lunch I deliver him a message regarding if he already had eaten or not. However, he hasn't acknowledged even once. I'm not demanding anything, though.

Our workloads double as days passed. If before, the professors just discussed every meeting, now we're required to apply the things we learned in the laboratory and if I were to be honest, it's exhausting.

Our lab sessions always require a partner. The professors depend on the choice of partners in our hands, though. I'm grateful since I got to be partnered with Jungkook. He's the only individual I talk to in our bloc. If they pick randomly, I'm doomed. Knowing that medical school has a cut-throat culture, I could not just trust someone easily.

I haven't heard from Joy for quite a while. We haven't talked through call but from time to time, she updates me. So far, there's still no lead about me and my whereabouts.

And Junhoe... I haven't heard anything from him either. I'm presuming he'd find me instantly, but he didn't. If he's eager to see me, by now he must've already found me. I'm thinking he's hanging out with his mistress at this moment. Curse him.

"You're spacing out." It's Jungkook.

I blinked when I heard Jungkook say that. I didn't realize that he's eating with me. It's already time for lunch. Just like I mentioned, Jungkook is the only person I get to talk to in our class. He's also the one who keeps on asking me to eat with him every lunch break.

"Sorry," I said. "Uh, can you hold on?"

"Sure," He grinned.

Unconsciously, I took my handphone on the table. I composed a message for Jaehyun.

To: Doc Jaehyun
Time for lunch! Better eat now. :)

As expected, he didn't reply again. I'm not expecting him to send back messages. I'm just really doing this out of habit. I sent a message to him during lunch that has been my daily tradition that won't break. He's technically my human alarm clock now.

After I placed my phone on the table, I turned to Jungkook only to see he was also staring at me.

"My apologies, Jungkook. I just had to message someone. It's quite important, that's why."

Psh, liar. This is the 129th times I lied to him.

"Nah, it's okay." he smiled. "Oh, I forgot to tell you! I'm going to introduce you to someone for today."

My forehead creased, "Who?"

Jungkook gestured from the person. I looked back to see the person he was gesturing at. The girl's familiar. She's our bloc mate as far as I remember.
