Unexpected Something

The memories

"Hmm... that incident... The fire in the factory was same as the one in my house. I suppose it trigger my memories back." Arien explained everything that happened inside the house about her kidnapping by Harry and everything that happened in the factory.

"Tell me what happened that night, when your house was on fire. When I came back, I wasn't able to find you. Where were you? Tell me everything." Ashley was really eager to know everything.

"I remember I was hit by someone, a girl, at the back of my head. I didn't see her face clearly. Then I was caught in a similar factory that I was in today. But I managed to escape."

"And then" Ashley asked. "Who was the one behind the kidnapping? And the fire?" Ashley added.

"I dunno. I just ran. I remember it was a man behind but I was not able to see his face....."

Knock knock!

Arien was interrupted by the knock at the door.

"Miss Collen, is Miss Jenner okay now? Director told me to ask if she is fine or we should call a doctor?"

"Oh yeah! How I forgot you're not well Arien!" Ashley suddenly remembered. "I'm such a a forgetful person"

"Tell your mister director, I'm all good." Arien's voice came from the washroom.

"But Arien, he wants to help. And your body is still hot. You may need a doctor" Ashley was worried.

"I don't want more of his favors. Now that I'm having my memories, I'll go find the one behind the execution of my parents." Arien said with determination.

"Silly girl. He's gonna help you. I think he cares for you."

"Shut up, Ash! He just has his own selfish motives." Arien said.

"Really? But he didn't take advantage of the time you were drugged right? He's not that bad." Ashley assured Arien. "Well let's see what happens then." Ashley murmured.

"What do you mean Ashley.......!"

"Are you both done? Is Miss Jenner okay?" This time they were interrupted by Devian's voice from the room.

"Yes we're done." Ashley said helping Arien out. "Mr Lyle can you please pass the dress on the bed." Ashley added.

"Me?... Okay." Devian agreed with a slight hesitation.

He passed the dress into the bathroom.

"Director, food is ready" Dean informed.

Ashley and Arien came out of the bathroom.

"Okay" Devian glanced at Arien who was not in a state to go elsewhere for food and said "Bring their food here. I'll go down."

"Mr Lyle, why don't you also accompany us." Ashley said.

"No it's okay. I'll eat downstairs." Devian said

"Arien say something. He'll listen to you." Ashley turned to Arien.

"Ahh.... Devian, you can.... join us." Arien said.

"Okay!" Devian agreed

"See... I told you ......"

"It's not that" Devian denied before Ashley could finish her words.

They had their dinner. It was already late at night so they went to their respective rooms and slept.

"Damn it! How did the fire spread. That was not in the plan." Harry was confused.

"Whatever. How dare that Lyle guy mess with me! Ben." He shouted.
