Unexpected Something

"I said leave me Devian!" She tried to flung his hand away but his grip was too strong.

"No." Devian was calm.

"Just leave me!" She shouted again.

"No" he answered again. "I won't leave you for the rest of my life" he wanted to speak that out but this cold director was not used to saying these words.

"You!" She glared at him with red eyes.

"Yes?" He made fun of her anger.

"I said leave me you bastard" her tone became faint.

Devian saw that she was not struggling to get away anymore so he pulled her into his embrace.

"Young master, Master Lyle is calling you" a servant came and said.

"Okay we'll go." Arien took it as an opportunity, escaped from his embrace and ran inside.

Devian nodded helplessly and followed behind.

They entered the room and saw Mama Lyle sitting on the sofa.

"Where is Dad?" Devian asked.

"He's in the study." Mama Lyle answered.

Devian walked over to the study while Arien accompanied Averley Lyle.

After a while Devian came out and asked Arien out but she declined him without a second thought saying "I'm leaving for the office."

They arrived at Visight one after the other.

Arien first went to the manager's office to give the work she has completed.

"Arien, you're here." Manager Andrew spoke.

"Good morning manager" Arien greeted with her usual sweet smile.

"You're working hard since the time you joined this week." He said.

"It's just work." Arien kept the folder on his table saying, "I've completed these"

"Yeah I see, do you not want a raise in your salary." Andrew spoke.

"It's alright manager" Arien denied.

"Come on, I'll help you." Andrew walked to Arien and held her shoulders and tried to massage it "I'm just helping you"

Arien was stunned. She felt disgusted with his touch.

"Manager, I said I'm good. I don't need a help for the raise in my salary. I believe in my own abilities" Arien was calm and saying that she removed Andrew's hand from her shoulders and walked out.

Arien went and sat there on her place when a colleague came over to her saying "So you are the new girl here? I'm Madonna."

"Hello" Arien greeted but got a cold response.

For some reason she didn't feel her to be someone good.

"You better be in your limits. You're new here so you need to listen to all my orders." Madonna spoke in an unfriendly tone.

"Miss Madonna, you're just a colleague not my boss. Why would I listen to you?" Arien kept calm and didn't react fiercely even when treated like that.

"You...!" Madonna became fierce.

She smashed the table and wanted to say something but suddenly a man spoke from behind.

"Madonna, you met her. She's the new colleague I was taking about. You should take a good care of her, okay. Treat her well." Manager Andrew spoke from behind.

"Yes manager." Madonna's expression changed in the blink of an eye.

"I'll leave her to you then, help her as much as possible." Andrew waved his hand and walked away.
