Arien waved and said, "Let's work hard and make Visight a flourishing company."

"Yes." Everyone said in unison.

"You can busy yourself." She smiled.

Jane stood there with her head lowered.

Everyone went to their respective places and started their work.

"Jane," Arien called out.

Jane turned around, her head still lowered.

"Yes, Mrs. Lyle," The way she used to address Arien had changed.

"Say that again and I'll not spare you!" Arien looked at her. "Aren't we friends? How can my identity change our friendship?"

Jane looked confused. Arien was really something. She wasn't boastful at all, and even after being the CEO's wife, she talked to her so nicely. Her heart melted.

"I'm sorry, Arien. I took you to the party yesterday. It was all because of me that you were bullied." Jane was already on the verge of crying.

"Silly girl! Why are you thinking so much? It wasn't your fault." Arien patted her shoulder.

"So... you aren't mad at me?" she asked.

"Why should I be?" Arien smiled.

Jane was overjoyed. "You are the best!"

"Now stop flattering me and let's complete our work. I'll treat you to a meal today," Arien said.

"Okay," Jane agreed without a second thought, a bright smile on her face.

Not only had she gotten a friend, but she had also found a really good person as her friend, and this made her really happy.

It was already lunchtime, but Arien had no idea until her phone beeped.

It was again a text from Devian: "Waiting at the Evening Restaurant."

Arien felt very happy because of his consideration, but she had already told Jane that she would be eating with her.

She took her phone and sent a voice message: "Mr. Lyle, I will be eating with my friend. You can have your lunch."

"Okay," She got as a reply.

Arien set the phone aside and looked at Jane. She was as workaholic as Arien. Even Jane was so busy in her work that she didn't notice the staff had already left, just like Arien, who wouldn't have noticed the time if it wasn't for Devian's text.

Arien walked over to her and poked her head, "Don't want to eat?"

Jane lifted her head and said hurriedly, "I'm done, I'm done."

"Okay, take your time," Arien said. "I'm waiting."

While she was waiting for Jane, Arien's phone rang.

"Hello," Arien answered.

"Let's eat together," Ashley's cheerful voice came through.

"Where are you?" Arien asked.

Ashley told her the name of the hotel she was going to, and they decided to meet there.

Arien took it as an opportunity to make Jane and Ashley meet. If Ashley met Jane, she would definitely like her, and then Jane would have another friend.

"Let's go?" Jane came to her.

"Okay."

They walked out of the office and straight to the hotel Ashley mentioned. It took them only five minutes as it was close.
