AUN POV

I took in the sight of the modern and upgraded laboratory, my mouth hung open in awe. The room was filled with advanced systems, a blue room, and various other cutting-edge devices and technologies.

"They even have a resting area here," I whispered to myself, my excitement getting the better of me. I wandered around the lab, completely engrossed in the mesmerizing view, momentarily forgetting about the presence of JungYun behind me.

However, my daydreaming was abruptly interrupted by a cold and masculine voice calling my name. "I brought you here to assist me, not to roam around the lab as you please," he snapped, his tone harsh and cold. Fear coursed through me as I stood there, staring blankly at him.

JungYun noticed my blank expression for a moment before gesturing for me to come closer, turning his back to me to operate a nearby system.

He instructed me to take a seat in front of the monitor, his gaze carrying an indiscernible expression. Supporting himself with one hand on my rolling chair and the other on the system desk, he effectively trapped me within his larger frame.

JungYun leaned in closer, his proximity making me instinctively lower my head, avoiding direct eye contact with his dark and intimidating gaze.

"I want to test your intelligence in coding, to see your capability in solving problems with your technical and logical skills," he stated, his gaze piercing through me.

"Type me a code for the file management system using Python. It's a simple task, but make sure you complete it by this afternoon, or even earlier," he said, glancing at his watch which showed the time as 10:35 am.

Realizing I had just two hours to finish the code, a sense of urgency washed over me.

"I will be working in the blue room. If you finish the code, call me. And one more thing," he paused, his eyes fixed on me. "You won't have lunch or be allowed to leave until you complete what I've asked for... do you understand?" he asked, his tone strict and unwavering. I nodded in response, acknowledging his instructions.

I had never encountered a professor or student at the university who ordered me around like him. Despite being a student himself, he exuded an air of authority and arrogance, reminiscent of Hitler's principles. I couldn't help but think that even my father would be more understanding than him.

Pushing aside these thoughts, I focused on the task at hand. I turned towards the system, determined to complete the code without any errors. "I hope I can finish it successfully," I whispered, as my fingers began to work diligently on creating the code.

Time passed by and I completed the task, I took a moment to crack my knuckles and reviewed my code once again to ensure there were no possible errors that could disrupt its execution.

Satisfied with my work, I glanced towards the blue room, contemplating whether I should call JungYun to check my code. However, considering the importance of his ongoing project and the need for concentration, I decided against interrupting him.

Instead, I patiently waited for him to finish his work and come out on his own. Glancing at the watch, I noticed that it was already 10 past noon. The thought of lunch made my stomach rumble, and I realized that I was eager to have my meal. However, I knew I had to wait until JungYun was available to review my code before I could take a break.

JAE-MIN POV

"Where are the guys, Tae?" I asked Tae-Sun as we sat at our usual table in the cafeteria. "Maybe they're still attending class," he replied, taking out an unfinished packet of marshmallows that he had failed to empty earlier in the day.
