AUN POV

"Did I do it correctly?" I asked, feeling a hint of uncertainty as I looked at the man before me, checking the code snippet I had just written under his guidance.

JungYun had dedicated the entire morning to sitting with me and teaching me all the concepts and lessons that I had missed, as well as preparing me for upcoming topics. He had given me his undivided attention, teaching me slowly and clearly to ensure my understanding.

He made me feel comfortable to ask questions and raise doubts during his teachings, fostering an environment of open communication. I never expected that this seemingly cold and arrogant man would not only be a genius in terms of intellect but also in his ability to teach others.

"You did well, but we can still use built-in functions to reduce the code instead of making it longer," JungYun remarked. I looked at the white sheet bearing my code snippet, which I thought was already concise since I had utilized the built-in functions I knew.

Confusion filled my mind as I wondered how I could further shorten the code.

"Are there any other functions that can help shorten the code?" I asked, curious to know if there were additional ways to make my code more concise.

"There are many other functions, but I will teach them to you another time. Right now, I know that you can solve the problem logically, as logical and technical thinking are crucial in coding a program," JungYun replied. He started marking my book pages and jotting down something on my reference note.

I couldn't resist taking a quick peek at what he was writing, and I saw a large number written on the paper. "This is my phone number. Call me if you have any doubts. I've also marked a few topics for you to study. Make sure you learn and understand them well," he instructed.

I nodded in agreement, absorbing every instruction he gave me. I noticed JungYun glancing at his watch and then at his laptop screen, checking his schedule.

Without saying a word to me, he began packing his things, and preparing to leave the lab.

As I watched him go about his tasks without saying a word, I followed suit and began packing my books as well. Curiosity got the better of me, and I couldn't help but ask, "Where are we going?"

JungYun raised an eyebrow, his usual solid face returning. "Are you expecting to stick with me for the whole day?" he questioned. Feeling timid in front of him, I remained silent and simply stood there, waiting for his response.

"I have work to do. Have your lunch and attend your afternoon classes," he stated, swinging his bag over his shoulder. Without further explanation, he pulled me out of the lab.

"Study all the topics I taught you. If you have any doubts, mark them or call me. Do you understand?" he commanded, his voice stern. I meekly nodded in response.

Without sparing me another word, he hummed and walked away, leaving me standing alone in the senior block. "What a tough man he is," I muttered, sneering at his demeanor. With those thoughts in mind, I made my way to the cafeteria to have my lunch, realizing that it was already 12 past 10.

JAE-MIN POV

"Okay, this is getting out of hand," I muttered as I stared at the gold greeting card, red love card, bouquet of pink roses, and a box of chocolates that were inside my locker.

I wasn't necessarily concerned about receiving gifts, but I couldn't fathom how the bouquet and chocolates ended up in my locker. I knew that cards could be slipped through the letter slit, but these larger items couldn't have been placed inside unless someone had opened my locker.
