AUN POV

I blinked my eyes a couple of times, trying to shift my focus from the incident with JungYun earlier. Needing a distraction, I decided to go through his old notes, which he had written during his early college years. It surprised me that he still held onto those books, as I would have likely lost them after the exams were over.

As I reviewed the notes, I found them to be well-organized and understandable. JungYun had used three different colored pens to highlight the importance of different points. Green ink denoted very important information, black ink for headings and other topics, and blue ink for defining statements and general notes.

I focused on my work and managed to complete around 80% of the note-taking task. Glancing at the remaining portion, a tired sigh escaped my lips as I lay back on my bed. The room felt eerily silent, and I couldn't help but wonder where my roommate had disappeared to. It seemed like she always vanished right when I needed her company the most.

Staring up at the ceiling, my mind began to drift back to the incident that had occurred earlier in the day. Just the thought of it caused my heart rate to quicken, and a sense of unease washed over me.

JungYun's presence has always had a profound impact on me, with his dark nature, cold voice, commanding figure, and audacity to touch me. It sends shivers down my spine, and my mind becomes consumed by emptiness whenever he is around.

His controlling nature over me leaves me with no choice but to submit to his dominance. Thoughts of avoiding him have crossed my mind, but I know that he won't allow me to escape his watchful gaze.

Taking a deep breath, I rose from my bed, intending to focus on my work or study my lessons. However, before I could even reach for my books, the door suddenly swung open.

"Aun..." Lily called out, panting heavily. "Why are you in such a rush? Did something happen?" I asked, concerned about her sudden appearance. She struggled to catch her breath before finally speaking, "I-I took the stairs." Collapsing onto her bed, she seemed exhausted.

"You took the stairs?" I repeated, surprised. Lily nodded, still trying to control her rapid heartbeat. "I have to...reduce my...weight, Aun," she explained. I had completely forgotten that she was trying to shed some pounds, and she was putting in the effort to control her diet and even choosing stairs over elevators to achieve her goal.

"Aun where is your phone?" Lily asked, causing me to narrow my eyes as I looked around for my phone. It was nowhere within my reach, and a wave of panic washed over me. I quickly searched through my bag, but it was nowhere to be found. "Lily, I think I lost my phone," I stated, my panic evident in my voice.

Seeing my distressed state, Lily clumsily searched through her own bag and pulled out my phone. "Don't worry, your phone is with me. You left it in the cafeteria, Aun," she reassured me. Placing my hand over my chest, I let out a sigh of relief, grateful to have my phone back. "And also, an unknown number has been calling you for the past hour."

Scrolling through my call logs, I noticed that I had received 34 missed calls from an unknown number. "Did you answer any of the calls?" I asked Lily. She shook her head, explaining that she had enabled mute to avoid any further disturbances and didn't want to answer my calls without permission. I nodded in understanding.

However, before even a minute had passed, my phone began to buzz again. Checking the caller ID, I saw that it was the same unknown number calling me. "Lily, should I take this call?" I hesitantly asked. "It seems like the person wants to talk to you, Aun. Just pick up the call," she advised. Nodding in agreement, I answered the call, but before I could utter a word, the person on the other end began to speak.
