Past (1995)

I swear I'm dreaming! I swear! I dreamt that Albus had a time turner that accidentally broke and took us back in 1995, I'm dreaming!

Lily muttered repeatedly under her breath, and quickly opened her eyes.

She saw herself in a room at Grimmauld Place; the sun had begun to shine.

Lily was the first one awake; Roxanne, Rose, Victoire and Dominique were still fast asleep, as well as Ginny and Hermione.

"Maybe I wasn't dreaming." Lily told herself. Ginny slept peacefully, her red hair covering her freckled face and tired eyes.

Lily smiled at her sleeping mother, and went downstairs. Her eyes examined every place, she wasn't used to see Grimmauld Place, as a gloomy and dark place with people to dwell within it.

"Ah," said a familiar and bitter voice, Lily turned around. It was Kreacher, the Black Family house elf. "So you're one of those filthy blood traitors who came from the future. Your father is Harry Potter, I see, friend of mudbloods and blood traitors, dwelling in the my mistress's home."

"Yes," said Lily.

She winced; this wasn't the Kreacher she knew, who was kind and gentle, often playing games with her when she was little and was very loyal to their family. But this Kreacher was cold, and uncaring.

"Kreacher! That's enough, leave the kid alone!" yelled Sirius, who was already standing at the staircase.

"Of course, master." said Kreacher calmly, and left.

"Sorry 'bout that. Kreacher's really unpleasant, even when I was young." Sirius told Lily.

"Yeah, but he became kind. He used to play with me when I was a little girl, and he passed away after Albus started his first year. Dad was heartbroken." said Lily.

Sirius frowned at this.

"Come, you must be hungry," said Sirius, wrapping an arm around Lily, and the two headed to the kitchen. "Look who's up."
Lily was greeted by numerous good mornings.

"Good morning, dear," said Molly, who was placing a plate of eggs and sausages on the table. "Come now eat."

Lily then sat down beside Sirius and Remus, and began to eat.

"You know Lily, you remind us so much of your dad's mum. You look so like her, but the eyes —" said Remus, sipping a cup of tea.

"They're my mum's eyes," Lily continued, flashing a smile. "I have to ask, tell me what grandma was like?"

Sirius and Remus exchanged looks; their eyes seemed to burst tears, but held them back. "Well your grandma was a very bright and talented witch, she seemed like Hermione." Sirius told her. Lily chuckled.

Remus then spoke. "But she was also a kind-hearted person. She would always be there for me when I felt lonely, with your grandad and Sirius. She was even kind to people who seemed unworthy of others' trust and love."

Lily smiled and said, "That's the way I imagined her to be."

Two hours later

Albus, James, Scorpius, Freddie, Louis and Hugo came running towards the kitchen.

"Morning."  the girls and Teddy greeted them who all woke up an hour after Lily.

"Sorry, we all stayed up last night." James yawned.

"Serves you right." said Teddy, whose hair started to turn a shade of light green, and went back to his normal blue shade; Harry and Ron nodded.

Mrs. Weasley and Lily came from the counter serving them eggs and pancakes.
"Made by Lily herself." Mrs. Weasley grinned, as the boys began to chow down heartily.

Hugo was the last to finish his meal, and burped.

"Excuse me." he said, wiping his mouth with his sleeve.

The others didn't bother to laugh at this.

"He really is Ickle Ronnikins' son." Fred and George teased, Ron scowled at them.

"No doubt about it, Ron. He really is you." Bill chuckled.

Ron's face turned red.

"So, uh, Teddy," Remus said to Teddy. "I nver got to say, er, what happened after your mum and I left? Who take care of you."

"Don't worry dad, Nana Dromeda raised me along with Harry and the Weasleys. The kids consider me as a part of their family." Teddy replied.

"Who's Dromeda?" Ron asked.

"My cousin, Andromeda." Sirius piped up.

"You have a cousin?" Harry told Sirius.

"My grandmother's sister. So me and Teddy are kind of related, cousins actually." Scorpius butted in.

"She was my favorite cousin. She's nothing like the rest of my family, who were obsessed with pure bloods. Being a Black means like being royalty to them, but to Andromeda and I, we were nothing like them, and we were disowned by our families." Sirius explained.

"She seems like a nice person. I've never met her before, obviously grandmother and my grandaunt Bellatrix cut of contact with her after she married a muggleborn." said Scorpius.

"Well she is, sadly Grandpapa was killed by Snatchers as I said last night." said Teddy.

There was a moment of silence, but was later broken by Mrs. Weasley.

"Never mind that dear, I think it's time for you all to have a bath." she said, chuckling.

The cousins borrowed clothes from the trio, Ginny, and the twins.

"Anyone reckons where the lavatory is?" asked Albus who was red in the face.

"Just upstairs, last room on the hall." said Harry, as the cousins went upstairs.

"Youngest to eldest!" Lily hollered, who was the first to rush in the bathroom.
