Meanwhile at the Potters' Place, Harry was sitting on the couch of the living room. He was looking at some of his photo albums with Teddy.
The first picture was with Teddy, around a week old in bed, gurgling happily. Remus and Tonks were also with him, giving him a kiss on both cheeks while his cheeks flushed as his hair was turning into red. To Harry's speculation, it was taken by Andromeda.
The second one was dated around May 5th, 1998, and this time little Teddy was cradled in his arms; Harry let out a sad smile, remembering that this was the first time he visited Teddy since the Battle of Hogwarts and the little metamorphmagus's parents' deaths.
More photographs followed, and soon tears began to flow from Harry's green eyes, recalling every moment he spent with Teddy.
Flash.
It was in the middle of the night when a piercing cry broke the silence of the Burrow. 17-year-old Harry groggily stood from his bed and picked up his crying godson from his crib, whose hair turned from his normal shade of blue to a darkish brown color, which greatly resembled Tonks's whenver she felt upset.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked, carrying Teddy who was still crying. "Are you hungry? Accio bottle!" Teddy's bottle flew to Harry's hand in just seconds and fed the baby, but he was still crying; Harry seemed to panic and give up.
What would Remus and Tonks do? How could he be a good godfather to Teddy like Sirius was to him? Harry thought of these words over and over ever since Teddy's parents were killed in the Battle of Hogwarts a few weeks ago.
"It's alright, don't cry," Harry whispered to the newborn metamorphmagus. "I'm here, I'm here. I know you miss your mummy and daddy, I miss them too; but they'll never leave you, no matter what even if they can't be with you for now."
An idea struck through Harry, he suddenly remembered the lullaby James and Lily used to sing him around Teddy's age. Now Harry wasn't an excellent singer like any famous wizard lead singers, but he did it anyway hoping that it might cheer Teddy up.
The tune was gentle, mellow and loving, as Harry knew that it was probably written by none other than his mother Lily. It gave a reminder of peace and serenity, Teddy's brown eyes slowly fluttered and yawned before he slept peacefully.
"I love you Teddy." Harry said quietly to his infant godson, laying him against his chest as his hair returned into his normal blue shade.
Another memory struck Harry suddenly as he was still staring at the photographs. Now this memory had to be Harry's personal favorite and had to be Teddy's as well.
It was on April 8th, 1999 on Teddy's first birthday and as a gift, Harry gave him a wolf plush toy which Teddy immediately fell in love with it and named it 'Moony' after his godson's late father. But Harry had one more surprise for Teddy, and he wanted it to make sure it would be the best birthday he ever had.
He took Teddy all the way from Andromeda's house to Hogwarts along with Hermione, Ron and Ginny. A few months ago, it had been announced that Hogwarts will be constructing a hall dedicated to all those who died during the Battle of Hogwarts called the 'Hall of Memories' and now it will be its grand opening.
Mcgonagall came running hastily as she met them. "Oh thank goodness you made it!" she exclaimed, she immediately caught sight of one-year-old Teddy who was staring at the moving staircases with awe and wonder. "I see you've brought company."
"Yes Professor," said Ginny. "It's his birthday today and we thought it would be great to let him see the Hall of Memories; we wanted him to see a glimpse of his parents."
Mcgonagall smiled at this and wished Teddy a happy birthday but her smile slowly turned into a frown.
