I walked down the hall way seeing security gaurds following me. I didn't know why they thought was happening , and I didn't know what was happening. But I had a bad feeling about Nolan going to see Bethanny. As I neared the door I heard him yelling something. I wasn't positive but I could have sworn he said the words "stop fighting me."

Every part of my body grew cold. Was he...if he hurt her I swore to god he wouldn't live to talk about it. I opened the door with my key card, and horror filled me. There was blood on the floor and Nolan was straddling her, her shirt ripped open. His eyes grew wide with fear as he saw me and I clenched my fists.

"Get the fuck off of her," I ordered.

Bethanny turned to look at me. Nolan smirked and I swear to god my blood literally boiled.

"She wanted it," Nolan said. "You should know she's a whore. "

I heard the security gaurds piling in behind me.

"Aaron..." Beth said voice quietly begged. "Help me."

And that's the moment I lost it. I ran forward and shoved Nolan off of her. I shoved him back onto the ground and punched him, feeling his nose crack beneath my fingers.

"Ma'am, " one of the gaurds said.

"Get her some medical help," I yelled.

The security gaurds, both of them, nodded. One man was picking Bethanny up to put her on the bed and trying to help, while the other called the police. Nolan was grasping his face like a little girl and I looked at Bethanny. Her body was exposed. She was bleeding. She'd never been so...helpless before. He'd broken her.

I hit him again, and that's when I lost all control. I didn't even remember what I did, I just knew what I wanted. He had to pay for what he did for her, and I wasn't going to let him get away with it.

"Son," the man said, shining a flash light in my eyes. "You have to speak son."

I looked up, past the flash light. There was a man in a police officers uniform looking at me.

"Bethanny, " I said slowly. "Where is she?"

"She's in the hospital, " the officer said. "She's ok but she has sustained some head trauma and some minor injuries. "

"And Nolan Porter?" I asked.

"You don't remember?" The officer asked, his eyes heavy with concern.

"I hit him," I said. "He hurt her...I hit him. I kept hitting him."

"Son," the officer said. "Do you know what you did to him?"

"No." I said. "Is he dead?"
It wouldn't have surprised me.

"No, " the officer said. "But he's damn near close to death. Aaron's your name, right?"

"Yes." I said.

"Aaron, you beat Nolan Porter senseless. He has seven broken bones, a busted knee cap, and bruises from head to toe. It took four men to restrain you. Four."

"So am I arrested?" I asked deadpan. "If I am, it's alright. I understand. I earned it."

"No," the officer said. "Since Nolan was assaulting Bethanny, we're declaring this attack as an act of self defense. But it's possible when he comes to, he might press charges. I suspect he will focus on his own legal troubles though. From there it's up to a judge to handle it. "
