Oh it's a block party! 🥳 -
Location: 31st Street (Granny's Crib) |
July 21st | 4:15 PMOmniscient POV:
As Melanie slowly scrolled up the pathway to the porch, taking in the whole scenery. She really did fuck with Jamaica and her dad's side of the family BUT nothing could top 31st Street. That was home to her and she loved everything about it, that's how it can be when you're a product of your environment. As she peeped the scene, she seen many cousins, aunties, uncles, and friends of the family. She gave waves, head nods, heys, and wassup in reply to those who spoke. Turning her head forward we made eye contact with NyNy, who was lounging on the steps with his homeboys staring down at his phone with the signature mug their granny swears they keep plastered on their faces.Once Melanie got a few a feet away from where he was sitting she cleared her throat. Causing conversation between his homeboys to seize and Nyny to revert his attention to his fave cousin staring down at his with this goofy look on her face. Causing his homeboy Zay'Quan to nudge him, "aight nigga yunno yo ugly ass wanna smile back, been moping round hollin' bout you niggas lame I miss my partna n crime" Zay'Quan blurted. "Say QuanQuan shut yo country ass up" Nah'jour replied but sure enough a smile graced Nyny's face showcasing his left dimple and pearly white teeth.
Nyny stood up, hiking his pants up just for them to fall right back down. The once beautiful smile turned into devilish grin as he slid his phone in pocket getting ready to put his set up. Melanie already knowing her cousin she flung her arms around him, engulfing him in a hug and kissing his cheek. "My Nynyyyyyyyyy , hey son son, I knew you was gone be happy to see me jitt I see ya cheesing. I'm back cully let's tear da city up!" Everybody watched their lil reunited interaction from a distance.
Granny stood off to the side talking to her sisters, "Denise look at them babies, lord hamercy, they remind me soo much of dat damn April and Tony lord knows they sholl nuff do chile" Granny's sister Sylvia dramatically expressed. Granny slightly smiled seeing her grandbabies interacting knowing they both missed each other very much she was happy to see them back together. Although she knew that with summer coming to an end she would have to give them that pep talk hoping they didn't wreak too much havoc in the days to come. She knew how they could get, it truly was like watching her twins April and Tony all over again. She just hoped she could do a better job with Lani and Nyny than she did with her own children, although they didn't turn out horrible two are in prison and the other one is still knee deep in the game.
"Damn Avonae fine as a bitch, I'd babymama dat shit" Pernell sighed biting his lip, passing the blunt to his godbrother Vonte. "Damn fuck nigga what you daydreaming, grab da blunt. You muthafuckas always hollin' a nigga be cheifing nawll you niggas don't be paying attention." Pernell ranted. "Say Nell he too busy hawking lil Mel black ass down das what it is" Tayda chuckled. "Tayda bitch stop playin on my top I ain't hawking shawty down. Say doe Nell that's Nyny ole girl?" Vonte genuinely asked not knowing who Melanie really was.
"Oh nawll that's our cousin too, they click tight tho you oun see one without the other type shit." Pernell said shaking his head being sure to clear the air. "Wait nigga how you oun know who Mel is?, this her welcome home party." Tayda questioned with a 'nigga huh' face, as Pernell blew out smoke chuckling lightly. "This nigga never paying attention, his ass probably just heard block party ainna' ?" Pernell asked picking with Vonte. "Man I can tell y'all related y'all some fuckin bugs, first of all if you fuck niggas must know I thought this was NyNy Welcome Home Party, jitt just jump a week before me." Vonte retorted shrugging his shoulders, grabbing the blunt.
"Yah-da-Yah-da... jailbird shit, man I seen how you was looking man you like lil Mel, y'all gone fw each other I'm calling it right nah" Tayda teased in pure amusement.
