19. Padilla's Plan

Siren's POV

"Kakain ka ba or lalaruin mo lang yang pagkain mo?" Tanong sa akin ni Julia dahil kanina ko pa tinusok-tusok yung steak na inorder ko.

"Bakit parang wala ka sa mood?" tanong niya pa ulit.

Sasagot na sana ako when I saw Francheska running towards us. Talagang bitbit pa niya yung bag niyang malaki at hingal na hingal. Napasigaw pa siya nang malakas sa resto kaya naglingunan pa yung ibang tao. She just flipped her hair at ngumiti sa kanila. Tignan mo 'tong anghel na 'to poise na poise parin. Nung nakarating na siya sa table namin ni Julia, humawak siya sa gilid nang table at huminga nang malalim until she was able to catch her breath.

"Kanina pa kita hinahanap. Have you heard?" She said directly at me. Alam ko na kung saan pa punta 'tong usapan na ito kaya inunahan ko na.

"Yeah, he's back." Nanlaki yung mga mata ni Francheska.

"So si Ieuhence yun? Is it confirmed? Alam ba niya talaga yung tungkol sa baby niyo?" she asked me continuously.

Pagkasabing-pagkasabi niya noon ay tumayo kami ni Julia at muntik nang matapon yung pagkain namin. Tinakpan nang mabilis ni Julia ang maingay na bibig ni Francheska. Nakatingin pa rin yung ibang tao sa amin, especially yung mga anak nang business partners nila Mommy.

I whispered to her, "Ano ka ba? Tumahimik ka nga diyan. You're too loud Ches."

"Ay. Sorry naman. Hehehe!" Tapos nag-peace sign pa siya.

"Si Ieuhence na ba yun?" Francheska asked again kaya tumango na lang ako.

Honestly speaking, Ieuhence as a human is still Ieuhence that the angel I met before. Iyon nga lang, wala na yung glowing aura niya. Ieuhence as an angel, looked very gentle na ang laging suot ay plain white colored shirts and pants. I even remember him saying na kung hindi lang daw ako nai-ilang sa 'nakedness' niya, he wouldn't mind being shirtless in front of me. Seeing Ieuhence naked is something that I can't handle at this moment. I can still remember what happened last 5 months ago in my room, it makes my face red in embarrassment.

But Ieuhence as a human, on the other hand is a little different. His hair is fixed with wax; his clothes are so different from the plain shirts he usually wears. Yeah, Enrique can dress really well too but he is nothing compared to Ieuhence right now. No offense meant by that but I guess, Ieuhence can afford anything because being an angel is a cheat on its own.

Biglang nag-ingay sa resto sa kadahilanang nandito ngayon si Ieuhence Keigo Padilla, a sought out bachelor as what they named him.

"He's so fuckin' hot!" Sabi ni Alicia which I assume ay ang anak ni Mr. Romero na business partner nila Daddy. She even stood up para makita nang mabuti si Ieuhence. Francheska and Julia gave me an awkward smile na sabay tumingin sa akin. I just shrugged at pinagpatuloy ang pagkain because I don't want to talk about it.

"You know what, if ever he'll invite me on a date, yes agad ang sagot ko." Alicia said loudly na walang kapoise-poise na sadya naming naging dahilan nang pagka-samid ko. Lumingon si Ieuhence sa direksyon namin and I saw him smirked.

"You wish!" Francheska exclaimed na halatang pinaparinggan sila Alicia.

"Dream on girl! Pumuti man ang uwak, I bet he won't dare do that." segunda naman ni Julia at naghigh-five pa sila. Sly friends!

"Ieuhence! Sit here with us!" Sigaw ni Alicia and tapped the chair right beside her. Everyone is looking at sinundan nila yung pag-upo ni Ieuhence sa table nila Alicia which is, unfortunately, katabi lang nang table namin. Hindi magkanda-ugaga sila Alicia at ang mga kaibigan niya sa pagpapakilala nang mga sarili nila.

"I'm Alicia and they are my friends." She gestured at them. "Daddy ko pala si Mr. Paulo Romero na business partner niyo." Nakangiti nang malaki si Alicia na nakatingin kay Ieuhence.

She glanced at our table and said, "Oh and that's Siren—"

"Sirenyx Vizel Montero" He cut her off by finishing my name. Duh Alicia! No need to introduce us.

He's staring at me with those dark hazel brown eyes that used to be blue when he's in his angel form. He gave me that smile, the smile that can melt someone's heart, particularly mine.

"I know her. Who doesn't?" dugtong niya na nakatingin pa rin sa akin.

"Really? Baka sugurin siya nang mga fangirls mo. Alam mo na, hindi ba kapag bachelor ka at may mga fangirls, aawayin nila yung madidikit sayong pangalan nang babae. Kawawa naman yung girl kung sakali." Alicia stated with a hint of bitterness in her voice.

Ieuhence's face darkened with that thought and said, "No one would dare to hurt her. I'll make sure of it now that I'm back and a lot closer to her."

Nagulat si Alicia sa sagot ni Ieuhence.

"Uhm. So Ieuhence, wala ka bang girlfriend? Wala bang magseselos?" Diretsahang tanong ni Alicia na ikinagulat nang lahat.

He smiled at that.

"Wala, I just recently got out of a relationship. I'm thinking that she's trying to get me out of her life." He answered.

"Ang tanga naman niya. Bakit naman daw?" As Alicia being an OA as ever, nag-react agad.

"Hindi naman sa ganun. I think mas napahirapan ko pa siya. I think breaking up with me was justified." He explained.

I remain silent all through out and didn't react. Julia and Francheska was about to say something but I held their hands to stop them. What is he trying to do? Why is he saying all of those? Nahihilo na ako. I can't take this anymore and because I don't want to hear the words they're about to say, I might as well leave this hellish place. I stood up and fixed my things. Ieuhence's reflex was so fast at tumayo rin siya sa pagkakaupo and held my wrist. Napatingin ako sa kanya dahil ang higpit nang hawak niya sa akin.

"What are you doing? Let go of me." I told him as calm as I can ever be. I don't want to make a scene here. I'm pretty sure nakatingin lahat nang tao sa amin dito. He glanced at the crowd that's looking intently at us while still holding my wrist.

"My name is Ieuhence Keigo Padilla, the new CEO of Montero Group of Companies. I am here to take care of Mr. and Mrs. Montero's property but I'm also here because I want to know someone better who's so close to my heart. Her parent's most precious treasure that I'm willing to take care and give my everything to."

Oh My God. Ieuhence. Don't do this. Don't you dare—

"Everyone, she is Sirenyx Vizel Montero. My ex-girlfriend and I plan to win her back with our baby."
