CHAPTER 13
Meet them
Nagising ako dahil sa matinding init. Pinagpapawisan pala ako dahil sa nakabalot ako ng comforter. When I was about to get up umiikot ang buong paningin ko. Oh shit! Nilalagnat ako!
Pumikit muna ako saglit at binuksang muli ang aking mata. There I saw the unfamiliar room. I tried to survey the whole room, kaso umiikot talaga ang aking paningin!
Damn!
When I tried to touch things on the side table kaso nahulog ang ilang gamit. I just wanted to see what time is it. I remember nakatulog ako sa sasakyan ni Eros habang pauwi na kami.
I saw the curtains covered the whole glass window, but I'm sure that it's either 2 or 3 am.
Kumalabog ang pinto at nakita kong pumasok si Eros dala ang ilang gamit. I tried to get up, but Eros stopped me.
"Just lay down after you take this. Mataas ang lagnat mo." he handed me some medicine.
He even put back some things on the side table. 'Yung mga nahulog.
"Bakit ako nilalagnat?" I asked after I drunk the water for my medicine.
He looked at me intently, then he sighed.
"Remember, naulanan ka kagabi, nung nag jogging ka." Then he get his phone on the side table and scribbled something.
Pumikit na lang ako muli dahil parang Ferris wheel ang aking paningin. Masakit ang ulo ko, dagdagan pa ng mabigat na katawan.
"Yes, he's awake. What should I do?" He spoke suddenly with his phone on his left ear.
"Nurse her, man!" Rinig kong sabi sa kabilang linya. I even saw Eros looked at me,
Then he pulled his phone and set it to loudspeaker.
"Di ka nakakatulong. Can you diagnose her, she has 39 degree fever and seems like mabigat ang kanyang katawan, and a little bit headache." He said.
I heard a manly laugh on the other side.
"Flu lang 'yan, Kai. It takes up to 2 days or more kapag di inalagaan."
"Then?" Si Eros.
"Edi alagaan mo! One day lang magaling na 'yan." I heard the man on the other line laughed.
"Shut up, Max! Di ka nakakatulong. Anong silbi niyang pagdodoktor mo." Eros voice was pissed.
"Haha, kidding. Remember I'm an Orthopedia, Kai. Dalhin mo 'yan sa ospital kapag hindi pa magaling. Other doctors can diagnose her precisely, not an Orthopedics. Sige, matutulog na ako, damn you, Kai! Ginising mo-" Eros then cut off the line.
