"what do you think people will say...about Heather?" I ask, handing him his shirt. he pulled it on as he answered.

"most will think they misunderstood her and feel bad about it. but no doubt, some will think 'Heather chandler is a bitch who deserved to die'".

"which are you?" I ask.

"based on personal experience, neither" he replies.

"what about...on what you've heard, like, what others have said or told you?" he thinks for a moment.

"then I would be with those who thought her a bitch...no offence" he adds. I smile and shake my head.

"non taken" I say. I hand him his coat and he pulls it on.

"what about you, which side are you on?" he asks. I think for a moment.

"I don't know. I know others thought ill of her, but she was kind to me, so I ignored what she did. I'm starting to realise that others probably hold something against me too for my ignorance of their pain at Heather's hand" I say. JD wraps his arms around me in a hug.

"I won't let them hurt you. Our love is god after all" he says.

"what does that mean?" I ask. he smiles and kisses me.

"one day you'll understand yourself" he says. he releases me, holding my hand and lingering. I laughed as he stretched his arm to avoid letting go. Finally we released each other and I went back into the house as he rode away on his bike.
