The funeral was held that Sunday. A lot of people were there, even the people who didn't like Heather. I sat in the church next to JD, over thinking what I'd already thought. I couldn't pay attention to what the priest was saying. How did Heather overdose just like that? The bottle wasn't that full, was it? I mean, me and JD can't be blamed, we gave her the medication for her hang over, we can't be blamed if she decided to take more than she should have. JD gently nudged me, and I looked up. people were going up to pray over Heather's casket. I indicated to him that I was going up. I watched the Heather's. Heather M looked to some extent sad and Heather D looked incredibly happy. Veronica went up too, she looked confused, a little worried. Finally, it was my turn. I knelt before Heather's coffin, the priest behind me.

'Dear God in Heaven, is it my fault Heather died? I mean...I don't know. I guess I just hope she's okay and with you. Amen?'
