"Yuta?" I asked him. We were waiting inside the nct 127 dorm because I didn't want to be alone while waiting for the others.

"Hm?" He asked as he looked up from his phone. I turned my phone to face him and he read the headline.

"Oh shit." He said. We all knew this wasn't the case, but since we didn't have any teasers out yet-the fans let their imaginations get to them.

"It's okay, right? I mean the teaser comes out tomorrow so they'll understand why we were together then." I tried making the situation better.

"Yeah you're right. I mean worst comes to worst we deny it. The music video comes out Friday anyways so they'll get it." He replied.

Taeyong came in the room and looked at me and Yuta.

"I guess you heard what happened?" He asked us.

"Yep. Anyways I gotta back to the dorm and cook and clean so I don't have time to get scolded." I said as I bolted for the door. Taeyong just rolled his eyes and watched me run out.

I went to our dorm and the dreamies still weren't back. I just sighed as I started straightening up the living room and kitchen.

"We're back!" Jaemin shouted as he got to the door.

"I'm cooking dinner." I yelled back to them all. They just yelled back 'okay' and let me finish cooking. Once the food was done we all sat at the table.

"So.." Jeno started.

"I know. It's okay. The teaser comes out tomorrow and they'll understand why." I told them. He just nodded and continued eating. We talked about everything that happened today as we ate and when we were done the boys went into the living room as I got ready for bed. I was so ready for this day to end. After my shower I got dressed and put on some pajamas, along with one airpod. I went out to the living room and got comfy in the corner. The boys were either talking about little conversations or on their phones but it was calming enough for me to fall asleep quickly.

The next day

Back to practicing again today. I woke up still on the couch and by myself in the living room. I went into my room, showered, and got ready for the day. I left my room and walked to the practice room on my own. The boys told me they were eating breakfast and that they'd be here after.

I haven't done a dance where I've tumbled or flipped in a while so I let this be the time where I did one. I didn't know any choreography's for flipping so I just put on fallen by Jaden. I warmed up by doing a kart wheel, but then went into the corner. The room was really big so I had a lot of room to go all the way across. I ran a short distance and did a front handspring, into a aerial, back bend kick over, and then landed in a split. I didn't feel satisfied with the way the split came out because it took too long to get down. I went back to the corner and started again, this time landing perfectly. I stood up and fixed my hair, just when I heard clapping. I looked at the door and there was the dreamies.

I laughed because I didn't expect them to see that at all.

"HOW DID YOU DO THAT?" Chenle yelled across the room, followed by his adorable laugh.

"It's easy." I replied and smiled at them. Jisung went away from the side and went into the center, doing a little baby somersault.

"Good job Jissie! I'll buy you a candy for doing so well." I joked. He laughed and ran over to me like a zombie. I faked a yell and laughed when he grabbed me playfully and squeezed me.

The others were watching the two messing with each other and laughing.

"If only we could not practice today." Chenle sighed.

"I mean we do need to get groceries for the house so we could go and get that done then come and practice after." Renjun said.

Author POV

"Yeah." The others all yelled. They left the practice room and walked out in a group to the grocery store that was near. They all had masks and hats so it wouldn't be noticeable of who they were. They went inside the store and split up. Jinji went into the ramen isle, walking past a man who was standing in the isle. The guy watched her walk to the noodles. He walked over towards her, standing behind her. Jinji, not being oblivious that he was behind her moved over to the side.

"Sorry." She apologized thinking he was just looking at the noodles in front of her.

"You're fine. In more than one way." The man said, while walking closer to her.

"Umm excuse me." She said trying to walk away from the guy.

"Don't leave so soon. We should get out of here." He said taking a hold of her arm tightly. She started to panic and words didn't come out. Her mask was still on thankfully, but he just stared at her breasts as she couldn't speak any words. He started making an attempt to pull her but she stayed planted into the floor. He turned to look at her but his face didn't get to look back at her before a punch got left to his jaw.

He dropped to the ground from the unexpected force, holding onto the extremely bruised jaw. Renjun grabbed Jinji's hand and pulled her out of the isle away from where the guy was. He brought her to where Jisung and Jaemin were picking some fruits.

"We need to leave. You guys can do the shopping." Renjun told them. The boys just looked confused but before they could say anything Renjun pulled Jinji out of the store. Her mind was still blank and she was just moving her feet so she didn't get dragged completely. The building was only 1 minute away so as soon as they were safely in the elevator by themselves Renjun grabbed her face by her cheeks softly, while examining her all over.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you? Was I too late?" He asked while looking for any marks.

"M-my wrist." She mumbled. He picked up her wrist, rolling up her sleeve only to see a bruise forming along with some fingerprints.

"I'm fine. He just squeezed my wrist really hard." She managed to tell the boy. He looked in her eyes with his hand still on her cheek, just as the elevator opened. They both looked at the person that was staring at them waiting for the elevator.

"Umm.." Johnny said, confused as to what was happening.

"Johnny no that's not what happened!" Jinji panicked, practically pushing Renjun off her. They were both blushing hard, having slight crush's on each other.

"It's good I'm cool you don't gotta explain anything." Johnny said putting his hands up in defense. Jinji grabbed his hand and pulled him into the elevator with them so they could explain.

"I just got attacked at the grocery store and Renjun was looking for any bruises. He was the one who stopped the situation from going any further." Jinji explained.

"Oh. Okay. Well either way fine by me just don't let Taeyong know." Johnny replied, earning a glare from Renjun and a push from Jinji.
