#22 - Huang Renjun

Renjun and I were finally able to book a date. The boys nonstop teased us until we got in the van and left. Renjun told me to dress casual, so I did. I was wearing a black cropped t-shirt with a jean jacket and some mom jeans.

"We're here." He told me. We got out of the van and I realized we were at a mini golf setup.

We played the mini golf for a while, and I continuously beat Renjun. He told me he had another place to go. It was just starting to sunset so we left the place, then drove to the next destination.

When we got out I realized we were at a park. We walked over to the swing set and sat down on the ones next to each other.

We talked for a few minutes before he jumped off his swing and landed on his knees. He winced in pain (or so she thought (;) so I jumped off mine too, landing on my feet. I bent down to help him but instead he pulled out a box and opened it. I looked down and saw a little navy blue box with a diamond ring that was the most beautiful ring i've ever seen.

"Na Jinji, will you be the Diane Sanchez to my Rick Sanchez?" He asked. ( rick and morty reference😼 )

I covered my mouth and stood up, as tears started to pour out. I nodded as he stood up and hugged me. He pulled back and grabbed my head, placing the ring on the finger. I hugged him again and as I did I heard loud clapping coming from all around us. I looked around and saw all of nct, and even my two best friends, Huixiao and Mina.

"Congratulations!!" They all yelled. I ran from Renjun and over to the girls, hugging them both tightly.

"Congrats babe!!" They yelled to me.

"How did he get you two here?" I asked them.

"Your contact list." Mina said and smirked.

"Huang Renjun!" I yelled. He looked at me and blew a kiss sarcastically. I laughed and continued speaking to the girls.

Later

We finally got home and settled in. All the boys had cried except for Jeno. Surprising, I know.

Renjun and I laid down in my bed comfortably. Our first night as an engaged couple.
