When the SM ceo asked me if I would like to be in nct, I felt a wave of emotions. I had been training for 8 months to become either a solo artist or debut with the other girls I was with, but when I got offered an opportunity like this-how could I let it slip. I still had many thoughts rushing through my mind, so I asked for some time to think about it. The ceo agreed and let me have some time.

Later that night after calling my parents and speaking with my best friends who were training with me, I sent in the emailing. He replied about 20 minutes later and explained most of the stuff that would happen.

I felt nervous and excited at once. Many thoughts ran through my head as I sat in my computer chair watching a anime.

The next morning

I woke up earlier than usual, making sure I looked presentable because I woke up to an email from the ceo saying I'd be meeting Nct today.

I walked into the SM building, heading to the office where I was told to go first. I knocked first, hearing a 'come in' before slowly opening to door and walking inside.

"Hello again, ceo-nim." I said with a bow.

"Hello Jinji. I think you made the right decision. I just know this will be amazing." He replied. I smiled at him, and the next 30 minutes we just discussed everything that would be happening. He told me I would move in to one of the rooms with the dreamies, because I was still under 20. I was fine with that, but a bit nervous as how they would feel about this whole situation.

"Ceo-nim?" I asked after signing the contract. He looked at me waiting for me to continue.

"Do you know if all of the nct members are alright with this? I mean I wouldn't want to cause any trouble or anything." I told him.

"Nonsense. I already explained everything to them and they were fine with it."  He replied. I nodded and handed him the papers.

"Alright kiddo. You're in nct now!" He said with a happy smile. For some reason he found my talents good enough for all this. He seems more excited than myself, honestly. I smiled back at him.

"If you go to the front desk, Mina can walk you to the boys' practice room and then you'll meet them. You can move into the dorms tomorrow." He explained.

"Ne." I said and bowed, thanking him before leaving his office. I walked down to the lady that he told me to.

The next day

I met the nct members yesterday, and were all very friendly. They congratulated me on making it into nct. I had met Mark a few months back when he saw me practicing. We didn't speak for long but it was long enough to where he knew my name and that I was a trainee in the company that he is under.

Today I was moving my stuff in. I packed the night before, and made sure I had everything ready. The dreamies are practicing so they won't be there with me, but it's alright.

When I got to the building I went up to the room number and went inside. It was a perfect size. Yesterday I got Chenle's number when we talked, and he told me that the room was the one closest to the bathroom.

I looked into the door that was open and seen it had a toilet. Then I went to the door that was in fact right by the bathroom door. I went into the room-which was actually big inside. I went towards the closet and started setting up my stuff.

After two hours I was completely done. I put up some lights because the light was a fan light on the ceiling, which somehow always scares me. My bed had fully black bedding, which fit the aesthetic of the room as it was a darker grey shade. I laid my body out on the bed, sighing and looking at my work. I laid there with my quiet music playing Hands up by D1CE, when I heard the front door open.

"Jinji~?" A loud voice called out. I went out of the room and went towards the living room, where the exhausted boys were on the couch.

"Did you get everything here okay?" Chenle asked. I smiled and nodded at the boy.

"Alright. I'll go start looking for food." Jaemin spoke, sighing as he got up from the couch.

"Oh. I can make dinner for you guys tonight." I announced, looking at them all. They truly looked exhausted, which made me feel bad.

"You can cook?" Jaemin asked.

"As long as you don't make me cut any animals, I can cook pretty much most things." I answered.

"Well if it's not a bother than you could cook for us." He replied.

"No not at all. I'll make a good meal, as a thanks for accepting me here." I told them as I walked into the kitchen, getting out some stuff to prepare a nice meal.

Once all the food was done, I started bringing things to the table.

"The food is done guys." I announced to the boys who were watching the tv. They all followed me to the dining room and sat down. I stood in the kitchen, just now taking off the oven mits.

"Wah, this is so good!" One of them started off, making the others all start talking at the same time about how the food was good. I grew a bright smile, knowing that I could make them all happy.

"Noona, aren't you going to eat?" Jisung asked.

"Ah I already ate earlier. You guys enjoy this." I told Jisung. It wasn't a lie. He just nodded and showed a small smile. I went back to the living room and took my hair out of the low bun I had put it in while cooking. I sat down on the end of the couch pulling my phone out.
