22. Mission Pendant

She holds my shirt from the back and asks, "I can't hear you properly. Are you apologizing? Or pleading? Or proposing, by any chance?" She mocks me.

"No, never", I turn back abruptly. As she has already come close to me, she flips and her leg slips. I catch her into my arms. We lock our eyes and wonder at each other.

"Her eyes, glittering in the soft light from the moon. I deeply lost in them", I mutter inside.

"Uh! He's lingering me and I feel butterflies suddenly. I think the universe wanting us to meet in this moonlight", Jas mumbles inside by blushing.

Her left-hand flips at once and her hand stops on my pendant at my bosom. She instantly widens her eyes. My heartbeat raises and I feel something wrong, soon I take away my arms on her. She falls down immediately.

"Ahh! What's wrong...with...you?" She raises her voice and slowdown at the end.

"Uh? Mm... I think..I have..to go", I rush inside the restaurant.

There comes Max and helps her. "Are you okay, Jas?"

But Jas has lost in thoughts, "Why I saw a glimpse of vision when my hand touches the pendant?" Mutters with herself by looking at her left hand.

"Hey! Beautiful? Are you alright?" Max waves his hand at Jas's face.

It causes distraction to her thoughts, "Uh? Oh! Max. When did you come?"

"What're you thinking, Jas? Did you get hurt?" Max checks her thoroughly.

Jas holds his arms, "Max? I am totally fine", says by looking into his eyes.

"Okay. Let's go inside." He suggests and smiles at her.

"You dance well, Dany." Sara admires him even though, he is bad at dancing.

"No, you're dancing like professional." Dany admires Sara with a smile.

"Stop adoring and dance like a real man, bro. Watch me", says Richie with lip movement from the back of Sara, straight to Dany, by dancing with a random girl.

"Where are you looking, Dany?" She turns her head slightly to her back.

"Nothing, Sara", he says and imitates the dance how Richie is dancing.

"Bro! Flip her around and catch her into your arms as I do. Follow me", Richie signals again from the back of Sara and shows him a demo. Sara tries to look back. But, Dany holds her tightly. He observes Richie and does the same.

"Kiss her, bro", again Richie passes the signal.

"What?" Dany asks him bewilderment with lip movement.

This time Sara understands and looks at Richie. He acts as if he is a no.1 innocent boy in the world and moves away from them by dancing.

"What, Dany? Looking at Richie. Planning for something?" She narrows her eyes and asks him.

"Sorry, Sara. I don't...know, how to dance. So, I followed Richie till now." Dany confesses the truth.

"How dare you?" She becomes angry and holds his arm and drags him out to the backside of the restaurant. Dany apologizes to her continuously in the meantime.

Gazing at his face, Sara starts laughing, "Hahaha!! You're... You're really, very innocent, Dany. I am just kidding. Hahaha! Look at your face." Laughs by holding her stomach.

"What?" Dany astonishes.

She laughs and laughs and laughs finally burst into tears. She starts sobbing. Dany doesn't get, for what she is crying all of a sudden. She leans her head on Dany's chest. He becomes highly strung and dumb. He doesn't understand what to talk? And how to react?
