48. Tit For Tat

After our conclave, Lily stops Jas by holding her shoulder. Rose observes it and regulates her next step to go out along with us. Lily gestures Violet and she nods as response and moves towards the door to close it. I notice them exchanging their looks.

"Are you not coming?" Richie asks.

"To where?" I raise my doubt.

"Obviously, to wish grandpa and later to...our...office", he says with hand gesture and swallows for my glare.

"It's okay, Richie. They'll wish grandpa later. And by the way, Richie? They didn't come here to visit our office or roam around. Let them stick on their mission." I transfer my looks on Violet, "...And let us know the contemplation to assist you to win on Nepenthes". I offer our open helping hand. I bend a little to glance at Jas and smile at her to cheer her up. Jas smiles back as a reply to me. I bash out and cover my face with my hand as scratching near my eyebrow.

"Ahummmhhmm", Dany signals me as setting his throat. "Sorry to interrupt your romantic looks, Sir. I think we need to go", Dany intimates by mumbling.

I feel a little embarrassed and reply, "Yeah! Let's go", I re-put my normal face. Chris and Richie waves at their fairy girlfriends along with their puppy and they respond back at them. Where as Max, he winks at Rose to bye for now but she rolls her eyes while crossing her arms. "Oh! Come on, Rose. Shows her attitude again." I feel compassion for Max.

Once after we depart that place to grandpa's room, Violet shuts the door. Immediately, Lily open ups her mouth with curiosity. "Jas? Godmother wants to talk with you."

"Now?" Jas questions.

"Yeah! Via this ring", Lily gives it to her. Jas puts on it to her finger. Lily asks Jas to spell a verse. Jas spells, all of a once, ring shines and Godmother appear as smog in the air.

"Long live, princess. How are you?" Godmother slightly bows and greets Jas.

"Fine, godmother. Thank you. How are you?" Jas bows and asks.

"Good for now", she replies.

"Tell me, godmother. You said you want to talk to me", Jas reminds.

"Yes! Regarding the pendant. You're situation is not well. Seems she is existing somewhere. Her birthstone has that power of carrying souls to anywhere it wants."

"Yeah! Godmother. We have discerned it earlier. I saw mother in Nick", Jas asks in a puzzled way, "Also, Amanda... Godmother? It seems, Nick's mom soul also there in that pendant. How can two souls exist in one pendant?"

"As before I have said, Queen Aster's pendant has that power. It can store the soul of anyone if the one who wear the pendant is ready to submit their life for love. Nick's mother has submitted her soul for her beloved child."

"And now, Nick's soul?" Rose doubts.

"Yes, Rose. And to save Jasmine, Aster has started occupying Nick's body in return. It's dangerous if she starts controlling him and uses her powers."

"But, godmother, it already happened yesterday night when he said as he wanted to protect me with his life." Jas worries and intimates about the situation has already done.

"Is it?" Godmother astonishes for a sec and replies, "Princess Jasmine? Please, don't waste a single second anymore. Nick is in danger now. Not from Nepenthes but from the pendant. Try to get back the pendant as soon as possible and return to our world."

"Yeah, godmother. We're almost done but...but due to some circumstances I retains still here." Jas replies by glancing at Rose.

Immediately, Rose says, "Godmother, no matter what, I'll send them by this full moon day. You don't worry", Rose assures her.
