23. Jas attempts to reach the pendant

"Yes! Aunt Angela. Yeah! Sara is with me." Max talks on the phone with Sara's mother in the living room.

"Okay, it's already late. At what time will you come exactly, Max?" Aunt Angela asks.

Max replies, "Oh! That...." Sara disrupts by climbing on the couch, "Tell her, we are staying here for tonight." Mutters with Max subtle.

"What? You really mean it?" Max questions Sara by covering the speaker of the phone.

"Hello? Hello, Max? Are you there?"

"Yeahh! Talk to her first", Sara mumbles.

Max nods and resumes to talk on the phone, "Yeah! Aunt. Actually....we're still at the party. Since it's already late....we will stay at my...friend's home."

"Friend? By any chance, he isn't Nick, right?" She guesses.

"Oh! No." Sara widens her eyes with tense. "Do something, Max", she mumbles.

Max says, "No, Aunt......"

At that time, Dany enters from outside and asks, "Chris? Why are you wasting your time? Go and make some porridge to Nic..." Sara jumps from the couch, runs and closes Dany's mouth, and warns him with her eyes. Dany calmly blushes like a cat.

"Okay, I will inform her father. Wherever you maybe, just come back home, quickly at least by tomorrow morning. Okay?"  She concludes and ends the phone. Sara also removes her arms on Dany.

"What are you thinking, Sara?" Max asks.

"Nothing. I just want to stay here and monitor my brother's health." She replies innocently by looking down. 

"Sara, are you mad? We gonna stay here? In this boys' hostel?" Max mocks and seriously asks her.

 "Ohhh! Boys hostel?" Richie comes, "Tell me, who is talking in front of me? A lady?" He ridicules Max. 

"Then what about Jasmine, Max?" Sara asks seriously. Max becomes slowdown after hearing the word 'Jasmine'.

"Ahh! Leave it, leave it", Chris cools the climate.

Jas thinks, "Since, everyone busy in the living room, it's the best chance to touch the pendant." She slightly bends and peeps into my room from the door. I'm still resting on my bed. While she quietly entering into my room... 

"No more discussion. I'm gonna stay with Jasmine." Sara rushes to Jas and holds her arm. Jas smiles at them. "Let's go our room, Jas", Sara moves forwards with Jas.

Jas gets stopped and says by showing at there back, "My room is there." She takes Sara to the storeroom.

"This is your room?" Sara questions her with surprise. After opening the door, she feels the real surprise. "Woowww! Jasmine. Your room is just....magnificent." 

Sara enters and looks around the room. Max and the remaining all come to check and become astounds. Cham jumps down and moves to his small bed, which has already arranged at the window to sleep.

"Oh! What's that?" Sara asks.

"It's my pet, Cham", Jas replies with a smile. 

 "Wow! So cute. Jas? Who arranged this all?" Sara asks her.

She thinks for a sec, "My brother... Richie."

"Me?" Richie asks and covers, "Yeah! Haha! Me," he laughs. 

"So sweet of you Richie. You're a true brother", Sara admires him. "But, there is some scrap left over here." She shows her finger at their left side.
