40. Our Fate Leads The Way

I leave Jas back at the waterfall and walking leisurely. I don't know where my heart leading me. Just moving... that's all. There raises a queue of queries in my mind. 

"Will she go? Or Stay back for me? Did I take the correct step of confession? She may disappear at any moment even right now. At least I hope a goodbye from her. Wait, if I go on like this how can she find me to say goodbye?" I turn back. "No, Nick. If you really want her to stay then don't go back. If you are not found then who knows she may stay. Right?" I resume my walking. "Today is a new moon day. If she stays back for me then..." I raise my head suddenly, "She may get in trouble. I have remembered the last new moon day, she hurries home and locked up herself in her room." I normally smirk once. "She didn't come out for two nights." I again turn back. "What if she has already gone? Or what if she leaves in front of my eyes? No, I can't bear the pain." Again I resume my walk. Meanwhile, I notice the sky changes all of a sudden. I take a look at the sky. Dark clouds cover it, thundering and lightning flash giving chills to me about Jas. "What's this all? If Jas has left alone in this climate...?" I run back for Jasmine.

I discern from the words of Chris and Richie trying to take away Sara, Dany, and Max from an area.

"Help out, Max bro", Richie requests him slowly.

"Please! Senior, we'll explain later", Chris also requests with his gestures.

"Yeah! Sara, listen to them. It's raining, right? Where will they go? They'll come once after the rain stops." Max tries to convince her. They run to a shady place to avoid the rain.

I understand that somewhere near Jas along with her friends leaving or maybe stuck up. I run towards that way. I come across Rose, running fast and leaves. She doesn't notice me cause I'm in a bit far from her. I worry about Jas. "Did something happen to her? Did Nepenthes shows up and trouble her? What's going on?" I run fast to know the whereabouts of Jas' and in which situation she is? Then hears Jas's voice calling loudly, "Rose...Roseee..." I run in that way.

By the time I reach Jas, her bracelet and my pendant are blinking again. And she's consuming her little power to stop the doorway's shrinking while calling Rose. I rush to her. Cham crawls towards me with full of worry. Suddenly she loses her grip and the doorway gets closed, she faints. I hold her from her back. "Jas? Jas? Can you hear me? Jas?" I keep on calling her. But, she's not responding. While trying to carry her, she opens her eyes.

"Nick?" She takes off the pendant and put it back on me. "I...want to...see you happy,...Nick. Even, if I...I...want to be....loved by you. Then only...I can accept...this pendant." She feebly says by letting her droplets down from her eyes while holding my shirt.

I too hold her arms, "Really, I can't believe...", I feel excited with a beam on my lips and take a look up while flipping my tongue on my lower lip. In my mind, "Finally, this is my moment to say her", "...I love you, Jas. Thanks for staying back for me". I open up my heartful words to her by gazing into her eyes deeply. I hear the quiet voice of my heart while staring into her eyes, to kiss her badly. I move more and more closer to her and she closes her eyes as consensus.
