8. Max is back

Shelly is trying to call me but he holds her tight with his arms. I run there as soon as possible. I catch his right arm and twisted, he shouts, "Ah! Ah!". I quickly drag out his left hand so that Shelly can escape from him. She comes out hurriedly from him and hides behind me. People around us staring at us.

"What the fu*k are you waiting for, Nick? Crush him down", Shelly says sternly.

I give a naughty smile and drag him into my arms.

"Missed you a lot, Max. How are you?", I give a passionate hug to him. "You fool! I'm fine, missed you too dude", he holds me back.

"What the fu*k is going on here?", she yells at us.

"Oh! I'm sorry Shelly. I'm Max. I have talked to you last time on the phone. Sorry, I didn't mean to panic you. I just played around." He releases me from his arms and apologizes to Shelly.

"Sorry?", she becomes raged but I try to conceal her temperment.

"No need to apologize, Max. She's a kind and understandable person. So leave her, it's ok."

"My heart almost came out but you're telling 'Leave her, it's ok?'," she mumbles with me.

"When did you come, Max?", I smile and change the topic.

"Just now. I'm very impatient, couldn't control myself to see my bestie, so I directly landed here".

Meanwhile, Dany runs along with security guards and reaches us.

Dany is gasping, "Is everything alright here?" he asks.

"Slow down, buddy," saying it Max rubbed Dany's back and comforts him.

"I saw Nick was running through the window. So, I thought to check it out."

"No worries, Dany. Max just played a trick", I tap on her back.

"Sorry to worry you, Dany." Max apologizes with a hug.

"It's ok", Dany replies with a smile.

"Anyway, thanks a lot for taking such good care of Nick." He gives aside hug to Dany again.

"It's my responsibility as his friend." He smiles and answers.

"Oh! I forgot to ask. Where is Richie? Last time, he invited an alarm robot." Max reminds.

"But ends up due to irritation cause it kept on alarming for little things even at nights and he couldn't even sleep properly until he dismantles it." Dany replies.

"Hahaha! Very funny. What's his new invention now?"

"Double-eyed drone," Dany replies.

"Oh great!"

"But he is not at all talking our new project seriously. He's just wasting his time." Dany says to Max.

"Don't worry, Dany. I believe him. He is a man full of innovative crazy ideas". Max winks at Dany.

"Oh! Come on, Max. If he hears your words, he will fly high in the clouds."

"Hahaha....very funny. Could you please give us some privacy?", Shelly asks Max and Dany mockingly.

"Ok, Nick. We'll wait inside," Max comes near to me, "Enjoy your privacy." He muttered in my ear and leaves us by patting on my chest.

I can observe anger on shelly's face clearly. Her narrowed eyes giving a cold atmosphere, indeed. But my heart wants to hung up with Max eagerly. So, I take out my debit card, "Take this card, call your friend, and do shopping how much you want." I give a side hug to her.
