33. Desirable Person

I have started searching everywhere for Jas. Max and I reach where Richie and Chris looking after the drunken friends of Jas and their pets trying to wake them up. I'm panting cause I've been running here and there all this time.

"Senior? Did you find, Jas?" Chris worries.

"Nowhere", I reply by placing my hands on my hip.

"It's all my fault. I shouldn't have made them drink, bro. When they're enjoying ice cream I offer them drinks to taste." Richie has admitted his fault by putting his head down.

"You..?" I fire on him. Chris and Max control me.

"Due to their slow resistance, they fell off only for 2-3 drinks. We barely managed to bring them out. But, Jas has missed suddenly. I'm sorry, bro". Richie claims.

"Uhh? Sorry? What to do, now?" I yell at him. "Will you take her responsibility, if anything happens?"

Max holds me, "Leave him. Let's go and search for Jas."

In the meantime, Rose and the other two come to a little conscious but still feel drowsy. Cham looks at my bosom and sounds at the grasshopper. It nods back at Cham and hops on my shirt. Grasshopper with its arms and Cham with its tongue opens up my shirt. My pendant..its glowing up. I cover up my shirt and turn back. It stops glowing.

"How? How did...they do that?" Max wonders.

"I too wonder..." I agree with Max and turn at them. Again my pendant glows.

Cham and Hopper signaling me and moving from there. Lady Bug and Bee also accompany their friends. But I didn't understand what they're trying to convey.

"Seems...Cham has...found Jas's...location. Let's...follow them." Mutters Rose and follows.

I don't know what's going on but I blindly follow those little creatures. And the remaining coming behind me. Cham frequently looking at the emitting glow of my pendant to lead the way to Jas. If anywhere it stops glowing, it going back where it has lastly glow. Anyhow, it takes us to the corner of that hotel. Since it's an old five-star hotel, that place is looking like haunted. Maybe using like a storeroom. Suddenly, I see Jas in the middle of that place looking up at the falling chandelier. I run as fast as possible and hold her to push. We fall aside on the floor. Immediately, that so-called good bad guy disappears in the air. Rose opens her wings and uses her powers and holds it in the air. Whoever reaches there astounds to see that scene. But, she loses her grip cause she's drunk. Max holds her. Jas flips over me to avoid the pieces of the chandelier to not hurt me. Few glass pieces cut her skin slightly. Anyway, it's speed has been controlled to some extent by Rose, earlier. So, either Jas or I not injured badly.

"Did you get hurt anywhere?" Jas looks straight into my eyes and asks. We lock our eyes again. I couldn't believe what has happened right now? It's like a dream. Soon, she falls on my chest. My heart is pounding fast. Lily and Violet lean on the wall relief.

Max asks, "Now, what has happened? Who are these girls?"

"We already knew, bro. Just accept it", Richie says.

Both Chris and Richie run to me and lift up Jas. While I raise up, I see her left-hand stone is blinking and I gaze at my pendant instantly. It's also blinking. "No way. My guardian angel....." I mutter and take a glance at her.

I carry her in my arms and come out. While we're crossing the party place on our way to the hotel rooms, we observe, few policemen and Mr. Jackson have caught the criminal. He holds a gun in his hand and made the criminal to surrender. He grabs the criminal's hand and twits it back and takes him in the police car.
