30. Going on a Trip

"I hope your arrangements have done well."

"Oh! Mam. You came? Good evening." Dany receives by greeting that billionaire's daughter.

"Good evening, Dany", she replies with a smile.

"Happy to see you at this event, mam", I shake my hands with her. "Where's your father?"

"He went to another event." She replies.

Meanwhile, Richie and Jas, standing a little far from them, talking to each other.

"Where are they taking those big sticks?" Jas asks him.

"Those are not sticks. Those are crackers. They're probably taking them to the backside of the stage." Richie replies.

"Crackers?"

"Yeah! That means, they go straight into the sky and burst out like a...like a flower." He says.

"You earthlings like them very much, right?" She claims. 

"Yeah! But how did you know?" He questions.

"Last time, when I went out with Nick to the amusement park, I saw people gathering to watch them."

"What? You...You...went to amusement part with Nick bro?" He surprises.

"Yeah." She moves.

"What're you looking for? Children are about to come. Where's is Chris?" Dany asks Richie. 

"Uh? Oh! Chris. He went to pick Ms. Grace".

Jas recalls this scene while dancing on the stage. She observes me along with Mr. Jackson, Mr. & Mrs. White, and all around me a bit far from the floodlight and feels relaxed. She tries to use her powers to divert the audience with crackers but fails. 

"Oh! Come on, come on, you can do it Jas." She again tries but fails. She looks up at the moon and pleads, "Oh! Moon, please help me to save these innocent people." She tries again by cursing seriously, "Godmother? You have to face me soon". This time her power works. Everyone looks at the crackers as she has guessed. She opens her wings and flies to hold the floodlight and sets it back into normal. Some of the dancers and people glance at her. In order to divert them, she sprinkles stars at them by making a round over the stage and lands on the stage. The audience thinks it as a part of the dance and cheers her up with their applauds. Jas bows at the along with the dancers on the stage.

"Jas? Jas?" Richie and Chris rush to Jas after the performance, while the staff who are there to lit the crackers are talking among themselves, "What happened?" "All of a sudden Who did they go?"

"Did you see him?" Jas questions.

"No, we didn't", Chris answers.

"I saw him using his powers to make that floodlight fall down. Fortunately, Nick is not there." Jas says.

"Oh! Luckily, at that time, Mr. & Mrs. White calls him to meet Mr. Jackson." Richie says.

"But, I need to find out him." She moves.

"Uh? Wait. Your wings." Richie remains.

"Oh! My Godmother, why the hell your elixir not working now?" Jas feels exhausted and rolls her eyes.

"Where's she?" They hear a booming voice.

"Oh! God. It's Nick." Richie hurries Jas.

"Go and hide," Chris advises me. She hides but I notice her.

I enter with Dany, "Come out, Ms. Jasmine?" I command her.

"What happened, bro?" Richie asks with a nervous smile.
