It was the day of the pep Ralley at school and Riley really didn't have the energy for it all she just wanted to stay in bed and do nothing.
She got ready for school it was the last place she wanted to be.
As she finished getting ready There was a knock at Riley's door
"Riley are you ready yet we're going to be late"Nate Shouted
"Coming one sec" Riley replied as she quickly put on her trainers she grabbed her bag and walked towards her bedroom door
She opened the door to be greeted by Nate
"Finally" Nate said
"Oh shut up" she said as she rolled her eyes
Nate smirked at her response
She walked passed Nate and made her way downstairs
Nate followed after her
They both get in the car Nate could see Riley wasn't in the best of moods this morning he knew something was up
He poked her cheek lightly
She turned to him with no emotion on her face Nate was the only one Riley let see her for how she really was but she never talked to him like that he just got to see the trailer not the movie what he wanted more than anything was to break that barrier he wanted her to let him in.

"Look I'm just not feeling it today Maddy is expecting me to be amazing today as my debut as a cheerleader and I really just can't be bothered"
Nate looked down at the mention of maddys name which caught Riley's attention
"Sorry sore subject I know a lot of shit has gone on between you both"

Nate looked confused at her reaction
