After the events that had taken place at the weekend the school had found out about Maddy getting chocked at the carnival they had seen the bruising on her neck.
Nate had been taken down to the police station for questioning Riley was left at school feeling anxious she knew that something like this would happen she just prayed that the consequences for Nates actions wouldn't be too drastic.
Riley was headed to her second class of the day when she spotted Cassie grabbing some books from her locker
The pair hadn't spoke since Riley's outburst at the frat party Riley did want to apologise but right know she just didn't have the energy for it especially considering everything that was going on.
She walked straight passed Cassie and went to her next class of the day.
Riley could hardly concentrate she was thinking too much about different things mainly Nate she was worried for him she just wanted everything to be ok but deep down she knew it wouldn't.
Riley had arrived home after being at school all day she ran upstairs to find Nate.
She walked into his room he was sitting on his bed with his head in his hands
She looked at him concerned
"Nate what happened?" She questioned
"Nothing I got let of I've just been suspended" Nate said Quietly
Riley looked relived
"That's great news" Riley said happily
"Yeah" Nate said bluntly
Riley could tell something was wrong he was being of
"Nate what's wrong" Riley asked concerned
Nate looked up at her
"Nothings wrong" he stated
"Are you sure?" Riley said as she walked towards him
"I literally just said that nothing was wrong so stop asking" Nate snapped at her
Riley was taken back she didn't like it when Nate acted like this and it didn't happen very often especially with her
Riley didn't say anything back she just stood there Not knowing what to do with herself
"I'm gonna go out for a bit I'll see you later" he said
Before Riley could respond he quickly got up and rushed passed her leaving her in his room alone.
Riley was slightly hurt Nate wasn't just being of in general he was being of with her and it made her feel like shit.
Riley decided to just leave him to it she came to the conclusion that he was just having an off day with everything that was going on and he was just taking it out on her.
