"You knew each other ba? Before this?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah, he's my Dad's fave engineer." I honestly blurted out.

Christine suddenly held Jayce's arm. "Jayce, phone number ko na lang kuhanin mo if ever you change your mind na siya ang kukunin niyong model." She said in a flirt tone. Jayce just look at her, then another arm pulled Jayce away from Christine.

"I won't fucking let you to become our model. Stop dreaming, bitch." Ani Miss Lexine.

"Maureen deserve the spot, and you don't even fucking deserve to be here." Dagdag ni Miss Lexine. Her piercing eyes was bore in to Christine.

"I'm asking Jayce to pick, not you." Christine spat and she look at Jayce. Miss Lexine laugh at her statement. "You think he'll pick you? Don't be so fucking desperate, old habits die hard huh?" she mocked.

"Why does it feel na they know each other?" bulong ni Sarah sa akin. Yeah, we have the same feeling!

"Jayce, I kn---" Christine didn't finish her words.

"Maureen, your phone number?" He ask me and lend me his phone. Alanganin kong kinuha ang phone niya and type my phone number there. I gave it back to him after.

"Thanks." He said before facing Miss Lexine. "Let's go, Lex." seryosong sabi niya. I saw how Miss Lexine smirk at Christine.

"By the way, I won't let you to model our products, Christine. It's my Jia's clothing line, you did many stupid things against her way back. Don't be desperate if you don't want to lose your modelling career." Walang emosyong sambit ni Jayce.

Laglag ang panga ni Christine habang nakatuon pa rin ang tingin sa papaalis na si Jayce. Miss Lexine flips her hair before walking out too. I heard laugh around, maybe they heard Jayce's statement towards Christine.

"Ano girl? Tatayo kana lang jan?" I heard Sarah spat at Christine! Oh my gosh! Christine roll her eyes on Sarah and walk away. Sarah can't contain her laugh.

"Sarah, stop it. Let's go." I said before exiting. Naramdaman ko namang sumunod siya agad. Nang makalabas kami I saw Kuya Rolan outside our car.

"Babe, I got to go na." I bid my goodbye to Sarah.

"Hi Kuya Rolan, sa favorite clothing line po ni mommy." I said before entering the car.

Habang nasa byahe kami, I browse my social media accounts to check messages. Suddenly, a notification came.

OMG! What the heck! Shit. My heart beat fast. I can't believe it! He freaking followed me, I knew it was him because I stalk his timeline and nakita ko mga picture na nakita ko kanina. Keep calm, Mau. Keep calm.

"Ma'am nandito na po tayo." Ani Kuya Rolan. I inhaled a lot of air before exhaling it. Kalma ka Maureen.

Nang makababa ako sa sasakyan, I observe first my surrounding before putting my gazed to the store in front of me.

"Anak, just in time. Let's go, the owner is inside." Mommy told me. Nauna pa pala ako nakarating sakanila. I just nod at her at kumapit sa braso niya. Kasama din namin si Ate Xia, even Daddy wala si Kuya Nate. Maybe busy sa work niya. When we are already inside I roam my eyes around. Gosh, the enterior is so good. Ang ganda! Eye-catching and the products ang gaganda ng mga nasa manequine what more 'yong iba hindi ba.

"Mrs. Qintal, it's nice to see you here." Masiglang bati ng manager, I think? Mommy plustered a huge smile at the lady. She's pretty ha. "Oh, hi. Nice to see you here, Cassy." Mommy said.

"Wala pa po sila Lexine, Ma'am. That's why i'm taking care of it for the mean time po." Magalang na sagot ng dalaga. Ang ganda niya lalo 'nong ngumiti siya. She can be a model!

"By the way, this is my daughters. This is Xia, my eldest." Ate Xia offered her hand to the beautiful lady. "Hi, i'm Xia. Please to meet you." Ate smiled at her and she did the same. "Nice to meet you, i'm Cassandra though you can call me Cassy." She said. Then they turned to me. "And this is Ma--"

"Mrs. Qintal." tawag ng isang babae kay Mommy. She did not finish her words kanina because she was interrupted.

"Ms. Ford, you're here! Sakto at halos kakarating lang rin namin." Mommy said to Miss Lexine! Yes, it was Miss Lexine who interrupted us. "By the way, this is my daughter Xia." Ate Xia offered her hands again and smiled. "And this is Maureen." Mommy said. Miss Lexine turned to me and her cute eyes turned big.

"Maureen, you're here." She giggled. Bakas sa mukha nila Mommy ang pagtataka. "Ah, Mrs. Qintal I pick Maureen to be our product endorser. I didn't knew you two are related. If only I knew, kayo po ang kinausap ko." Miss Lexine said. Mommy look shocked, malamang it's her favorite clothing line, sikat din another big break for me.

"Mau didn't tell me about it ha." Mommy said, bakas ang pagtatampo sakanya. "Mommy ngayon ko lang din po nalaman eh. Kakasabi lang din po sa akin ni Alice." I defended my self to my mom.

Miss Lexine laugh and she talked to my mom and dad about it while me and ate start to roam around. Miss Cassy also bid her goodbye na because she says her boyfriend is waiting for her. Sana all may boyfriend. Joke hahahaha.

"Good choice talaga palagi si Alice ano?" Ate Xia commented.

"Alam mo naman ate eh. Kapag ganitong mga bagay madaming connection iyon." I answered. Ate Xia and Alice is best of friends. Sabay silang naging model ni Ate and then Ate stop modelling because she's getting married. While Alice, stay to where she is happy and proud to have. Actually, shared company nila ni Ate ang modelling agency na 'yon but yeah Ate Xia let it go and she knew that Alice will handle it even without her.

"How is she Mau?" Ate asked in a sad tone. They are not in good terms because Ate Xia left the company. They can do the best when they are together, but yeah some unfortunate things will really happen.

"She's fine ate. Why don't you just talk to each other ba?" I said. Paano kasi laging ako ang tanungan nilang dalawa about sa isa't isa. Ate Xia just shrugged, pride nga naman.

Iniwan ako sandali ni Ate Xia because Kuya Nate called her. They're so lucky with each other ha. Sana I can find someone who can I share with everything.

"Maureen?" A baritone voice at my back called me. I turned my gazed at him and I saw Jayce!

"What are you doing here?" He asked. I stared at him and he does too! I am shocked okay?! My gosh! "Engineer, what brings you here?" Dad suddenly appeared. Naamoy niya siguro ang fave engineer niya!

"Engineer Qintal." Jayce smiled at my Dad. "This is the clothing line I was talking about." He answered gently. Daddy just nodded at him and he fixed his eyes on me. Like he was saying that 'Maureen, not my fave engineer." My gosh!

"I heard you get my Maureen to be the endorser huh? Good choice, Engineer." Daddy said proudly. Humalakhak naman si Jayce sa sinabi ni Dad.

"Idol po kasi ng kaibigan ko, Engineer." tumawa sila ni Daddy doon. "But yeah, I think it is really a good choice." he added.

He looked at me and smiled a bit and continue to what he is saying.

"She's perfect for our summer wear product."
