Chapter 6

"Huh?" gulat na sagot ko.

"I said, you look pretty in your dress." Pag-ulit niya. "T-thanks." I answered before grabbing my arm and walk fast. I heard him calling me and he laughed a bit. Ugh! Bakit ang sexy ng pag tawa niya.

"Mau, wait up!" He shouted a bit. I looked back but I just glared at him and continue walking. Nang makarating ako sa loob ay agad akong lumapit kay Ate Xia to chika him about what happened earlier.

"Ate, I have chika for you!" Kumunot naman agad ang noo niya sa sinabi ko, hahahaha funny! "Did you invite Zander ba?" I asked her. Bigla naman siyang lumingon kay Kuya Nathan.

"Nate, did you invite Zander?" Ate asked him. Agad ko namang nilingon si Kuya Nate.

"Uh, yes hehehe." Kinakabahang sagot niya. "Did he met Sarah ba? He said he wanted to talk to Sarah, that's why I invited him here." He added. They're friends din kasi that's why, I remember when Sarah and Zander broke up, Kuya Nate punch him for Sarah.

"Alam mo naman yong past nila diba?" Ate Xia sounds concerned. Kuya Nate hugged him from behind. "Chill babe. I warned him not to make Sarah cry." kumalma naman agad si Ate.

"Kuya, he's with Kathie. Daughter niya 'yon? Kahawig niya eh." I suddenly told them. Kita ko ang gulat kay Kuya Nate and Ate Xia glared at him.

"He didn't told me na isasama niya si Kathie. Where's Sarah? Is she okay?" Nag-aalalang tanong na rin ni Kuya Nate.

I sighed and before I could answer I heard my bestfriend answered. "Yes kuya I'm fine and galing ako sa powder room." Ate Xia hugged her tightly and whispered something. The MC interrupted us because the bride and the groom is needed at the center para ma-start na rin ang party.

Sarah and I go to our respective table and we saw Alice and Kathie there. "You okay with that?" I asked her before we reach our table. She just nodded to answer my question.

"Sarah you really okay?" Agad na tanong ni Alice.

"Yeah, i'm fine." She answered and shrugged.

The ceremony started and we also started eating. Nag kwentuhan lang kaming tatlo and Sarah did a fucking interview to Zander's daughter.

"How old are you, sweetie?" Sarah asked. I elbowed her at pinanlakihan ng mata. She mouthed "what" without a sound, inirapan ko siya as my answer.

"I'm three po." Kathie answered with full of food in her mouth. Sinita naman agad siya ni Alice dahil doon. "I told you not to talk when your mouth is full didn't I?" pagalit kunwaring sabi nito. Agad naman nilunok ni Kathie ang laman ng bunganga niya at sumagot. "I'm sorry Tita A." and she pouted, so cute.

"Spoiled brat." rinig kong bulong ni Alice.

"Who's your mom?" Sarah suddenly interrupted. "Is it Katarina? You ressemble a lot." she almost whispered the last words.

"Yes po, you know my mom po?" bakas sa excitement sa mukha ni Kathie at halatang inaabangan nito ang sagot ni Sarah.

I sighed, Katarina is her bestfriend. I mean yeah, we're bestfriends but Katarina is there for her since their childhood days. They got the friendship over thing when Sarah caught Katarina and Zander having sex.

"I knew her. Very well." Bakas ang galit sa boses ni Sarah but she still managed to make it sound sweet. I know Sarah knew na walang kasalanan ang bata sa lahat ng kagaguhan na ginawa sakanya nilanZander. But still I know she despise both of them, but not Kathie.

"Okay! The bride will throw her boquet! All single ladies please come infront!" The MC announces. Alice and I pulled Sarah to go there, nag pupumiglas pa siya pero wala na siyang nagawa.

"In the count of three! One, two, three!" and with that cue Ate Xia throw her boquet and I fucking catch it!!!

"Oh, it's Miss Maureen who catched it. Anyway here's Engineer Castillo, he got the garter." What the hell? Jayce got the garter?!

"Push mo na yan ate girl, landi well." Sarah teased and she laughed like a devil. The emcee pulled me and make me sit in the chair! Heck!

"So Engineer, you don't have a girlfriend diba?" Tumango ito nilang sagot. He knelt down and put the garter in my put paakyat sa binti ko. The emcee stopped him and said he should fucking used his teeth na! The hell, where not even mag jowa!

"Higher! Higher! Higher!" The crowd teased I even heard my Dad's laughed. Shit. "Mau, is it okay?" alanganing tango ang naisagot ko sakanya. He stopped sa middle ng legs ko and he stood up na. "Ay 'yon lang?" I heard the emcee said and chuckled. Hmpppp!

"Pulang-pula ka girl?" pang-aasar ni Alice! Shit ayaw ko ng ganito! Baka bukas may susugod na sa akin! Hindi ko pinansin ang pang-aasar nila Sarah. The day ended with that, I am being teased! Nakakahiya! I even saw Jayce glancing at me! Ugh!

Knock! Knock! That's what woke me up the next day! Ang aga-aga pa pero may bruha ng nambubulabog sa akin.

"Bruha, I have chika for you! Christine's mad at you again." Tumatawang sambit niya while I am fixing my bed.

"Lagi namang galit sa akin 'yon. What is her reason this time?"

"She saw the video of you and Jayce." Agad nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa sinabi niya! What the hell? Bakit may video?! "Sinong nag video? Bakit may video?!" tarantang sagot ko.

Ayaw na ayaw kong naiissue ako dahil maraming gustong makitang masira ang image mo sa modelling industry.

"Guest sa kasal nila Ate X." simpleng sagot nito. Agad kong tinawagan si Alice dahil sa video na iyon and she told me na nakausap na niya si Jayce about doon and he's fine with it.

Pinapunta na lang ako ni Alice sa office para mapag-usapan ang nangyari. And she warned me not to open my social media accounts because some bashers are attacking me. Damn.

"Buti naman nandito kana!" Agad na sabi ni Christine! For fucksake, i'm not here for catfights!

"What do you need?" I asked calmly.

"Alam mo ikaw?! Hindi ka lang sipsip, malandi ka pa! Really Maureen? Pati si Jayce lalandiin mo?" Galit na sambit niya. I inhaled a lot of air and exhaled it.

"Hindi ako sipsip, Christine. At mas lalong hindi ako malandi. For fucksake, I am not even trying to flirt with Jayce!" Inis na sagot ko rito.

"Malandi ka! I fucking watched the video!" Sigaw niya. Ang hirap makipag talo sa taong sarado ang utak.

"Hey, watch your mouth!" Singit ni Sarah.

"I'm not talking to you bitch!" sikmat ni Christine. "Pwede ba? Layuan mo si Jayce! Ikaw na nga kinuhang endorser nila, lalandiin mo pa? Hindi ka makontento?" Sigaw niya pang muli sa akin.

"You know what? Kapag inggit ka ipikit mo 'yang mata mo! Stop saying nonsense! Wala kang kwenta!" Angil ni Sarah. I sighed in disbelief! Totoo ngang mahirap kausapin ang taong galit lang ang dala.

"Sarah let her do what she want. Let's go." I said before everything will get more messy.

"At saan ka pupunta? Takot ka? Ha? Takot ka?" Sabi nito sa akin at tinulak ako. Kamuntik pa akong matumba but luckily someone grab my waist.

"You okay?" A man whispered. I stand straight and looked at him. "Yeah, i'm fine Jayce." I amswered back. Yeah, it's him the one who grabbed me to stop me from falling.

"What are you doing Christine?" kunot-noong tanong nito sa dalaga.

"Nilalandi ka niya Jayce! First, she seduced you to get the endorsement! And now nilalandi ka niya! I'm just protecting you!"

Tumawa ng pagak si Jayce dahil sa naging sagot ni Christine. "First, she didn't seduced me to get the endorsement. Second, hindi niya ako nilalandi." walang emosyong binitawan ni Jayce ang mga salitang iyon.

"And lasty, stop describing yourself. Act as your profession Christine, or else i'll convince Alice to fired you here."
