Chapter 19

It's been a week since that thing happened. Luckily, my ate and her baby survived. Also, my parents learned about my sister and Nathan's issue. Galit na galit si daddy and my mom broke down after knowing about it.

Also, for Nathan family balita ko pinaalis nila siya sa bahay nila. Even his mom and dad are mad because of what he did. Though, they're supporting my sister to her pregnancy, lalo na ngayon na kailangang mas extra careful kaming lahat kay ate.

"Ate, do you need or want something?" I asked her while she's currently combing my hair. Nandito ako sa kwarto niya, and I am going to sleep beside her.

"Uhmmm, nothing." She whispered. I let her comb my hair until she's satified. She always do that whenever I'll sleep beside her or sometimes she'll visit my room just to comb my hair.

"Ate, how are you dealing with it?" Tanong ko ng sabay kaming mahiga sa kamay niya.

"Mahirap, sobra. But sometimes iniisip ko na lang na baka blessing in disguise 'tong nangyayari. Wala na rin naman akong magagawa, nangyari na eh. I did just go with the flow, cause the more na ilulubog ko sarili ko, the more na mas malalim ang sugat." She smiled lightly.

"And you know, I was kinda aware of Nathan's cheating issue. Cause I was ready for it, simula nung nalaman kong hindi ako pwedeng manganak. But still, I tell him about it cause he deserves to know. Minsan pinagsisisihan ko na lang, it's my fault. Ako yung may mali, pero bakit ganon? At the end of the day, sakin siya umuuwi dahil sakin siya obligado."

"Ate, do you love him that much? You endure the pain for how many months, then you learned about your pregnancy yet he's cheating." I asked her again.

"Sobra, to the point that i'm willing to let him go para makahanap siya ng babaeng kayang bumuo ng pinapangarap niyang pamilya." A tear fell from her eyes, it's just a single drop of water but as the seconds past by, it become endless. "I am wishing for his happiness, I want him to find himself through this break. I want him to realize that even he did this to me, I am willing to forget it just to make sure na magkakaroon ng masaya at kompletong pamilya ang magiging anak namin. And honestly, I am wishing that he's here beside me cheering me up that we can try and try until we have the baby. I wish he cheered me up when I am tearing apart cause I learned that I can't bear a child. I am wishing that he didn't cheat because I don't have something that other girls can have. I wish, he's here for him to know that I fucking miss him even he did something unforgivable." My ate fell asleep after telling those words. I sighed and pushed her tears away, kahit nakatulog na siya may mga luha pa rin na lumalabas sa mata niya. I picked up my phone and saw that the call didn't end.

"Did you hear it?" I asked the person in the other line.

"Yeah." Narinig ko ang pagsinghot mula sa kabilang linya. Maybe he's crying or something. "Can you set a date for us to talk? Please, I miss your sister so much. I promise not to hurt her."

"You also promised that infront of many people and to God. But yeah, i'll set a date for you two." I said before ending the call. It's Nathan, he asked me if I could let him hear my sister's voice, so I did. Para marealize niya rin kong gaano siya kagago.

Niyakap ko ang ate ko until I fell asleep. I woke up the next day na wala si ate sa tabi ko. I immidiately stood up and find her. I check her bathroom but she's not there, also sa walk in closet niya wala rin siya.

"Ate, nasaan po si Ate Xia?" Tanong ko kay Ate Soling.

"Naku Maureen, hindi ko pa nakikita ang ate mo rito." Sabi neto sa akin na naguguluhan dahil sa tanong ko.

What? Saan naman pupunta si ate?! Lumabas ako ng bahay, pumunta ako sa garden nagbabakasakaling makita ko si Ate but she's not there. Bumalik ako sa loob at nagmadaling umakyat sa kwarto.
