It had been an hour since the bus driver went to get some food, and I literally had nothing to do. My phone was charging, and Zoe borrowed my laptop for twitcam.
And yes, I could actually join the twitcam, but I wasn't really in the mood. I did apologize to the fans though, telling them I was in a voice rest - which was actually true - since we would be performing at the AMA's next week.
I sighed for probably the sixth time for the past hour, and turned my body around to face the window. I was about to close my eyes and sleep, but then something caught my eyes.
My eyes widened when I saw a small music store across the street. I literally jerked up from my bunk, almost hitting the ceiling. Completely forgetting the fact that I was actually tired as fuck.
I really do need to stop by the store, since I kind of broke my acoustic guitar string. And hell, we were in a tour bus, and we really didn't know how long does it take to reach California.
I glanced around the bunk area, and I mentally did a happy dance when I saw Clover doing pretty much nothing as well.
Her head was hanging on her bunk's edge, making her long hair dangling in the air. I could actually be a bitch and surprise her, so her phone would fall square on her face, but since I need her right now. I cleared my throat and stood beside her.
"Hey, loser. I need to go the music store right across the street." I said in a hushed tone, but literally yelled in her ear when I called her a loser, just to mess around with the girl.
Clover then turned her head lazily to me, probably already annoyed when I called her loser. It was funny to mess around with her though, she would be so annoyed, and she would just isolate herself from me.
"And?" She replied, pulling her phone away from her face slightly. I rolled my eyes and looked at her like it was the most obvious thing in the whole world.
"I want you to come with me!" I sighed frustratingly, as I crossed my hands over my chest.
Actually, we need to hurry before the bus driver come back and start driving. And like usual, he wouldn't even check if we we're complete or not. That drove us mad everytime he took a break like this.
"After you called me a loser, nice move, neighbor." Clover said sarcastically, referring to my bunk that was next to her.
Clover then let out an exasperated sigh, and she eventually got out from her bunk. I squealed happily when she slipped on her sweater and took her phone. That was why I loved her so much, she literally couldn't say no to anything.
I quickly took some money from my bunk, and strode my way to the front of the bus with Clover leading the way. We both did a double take on the driver's seat, making sure that he was still out - which he obviously was.
"You seriously owe me this time." Clover mumbled, as she slipped on her shades to make a disguise.
"I thought you also need to get some strings?" I asked back, as I remembered that she broke her string as well, from strumming it too hard yesterday.
"Well played." She shrugged, eyes widening a little, probably realizing what I said was true.
I then glanced around the street, before crossing it after we made sure it was safe to do so. The music store was a couple of feet away, and we spent no time walking towards it.
It was an old music store. The rugged material of the wooden planks, and also the excessive amount of dust on the window made the store looked deadlier.
