With loads of bags in my hands, I stepped inside the empty elevator. I pressed the 16th floor with my elbow, before my hand made its way to the close button.

"Hey! Wait up!" Someone yelled loudly, making me stop my action previously. I turned my head upwards, fixing my gaze on a boy.

There I saw Calum running towards the elevator I was in. My eyes widened at this, and literally, I dropped all of the bags on the floor.

I pressed the close button rapidly, hoping that it'd close by the time Calum reached here, but of course it fucking didn't.

I didn't even know how his foot managed to fit inbetween the very small gap of the two doors, making it open wide.

Calum got inside the elevator quickly, then he glanced up, meeting my eyes for once. A smirk was drew on his face, and I rolled my eyes at this.

"Well, hello there." Calum mused, as he leaned back on the opposite elevator wall, making us face each other.

I rolled my eyes again, as the elevator door finally closed. Yeah, good timing you shit elevator.

I sighed and bent down to take my bags I dropped earlier, not bothering to reply him. I was really done with this guy. He'd been bugging me the whole day, and seeing him would be the last thing I wanted right now.

"It's kind of rude not to reply when someone greet you, you know." Calum spoke again, making me roll my eyes again. "And your eyes would fall out of your eyelids if you keep doing that." He added, and I rolled my eyes again at his cockiness.

"Will you just stop? I'm fucking tired with yout shi-"

I started out, but the elevator stopped abruptly, making me stop at mid sentence as well. It shook just a bit, and my hand quickly went and grabbed the railings.

The lights then began to dim rapidly, making Calum and I turned our heads around. We both made a brief eye contact, and he had the exact same expression like me.

"What the fuck is going on?" Calum hissed, making me turn my head to him.

And just right on cue, the lights went off completely, making it pitch black inside. I gasped and held on the railings tighter.

The elevator shook one more time, and this time, I fell on the carpetted tiles. Then, I felt a loud knock near me, and it must've been Calum. I cringed at the noise, but didn't move since it was pitch black.

"Crap, are you okay?" I asked him quietly, my hands slowly went to grab the railings again.

"Um, I guess so." Calum answered me back, as I felt his warm breath fanning on my collar bone as he spoke.

My eyes widened when I realized that he was actually really close to me. I moved back in reflex, but I ended up hitting my back harshly.

"Shit." I winced in pain, as I heard Calum let out an exasperated groan.

"God, stop moving alright? It's dark and small here, don't hurt yourself." Calum told me, as I felt a pair of hand grabbed my arm, pulling me forward.

My back was rested on the elevator door, and I could feel Calum was sitting right next to me. I heard him let out a sigh, as a weird noise came from the machines. I gulped and took a deep breath.

"Calum, do something!" I whimpered lowly, as my hand grabbed his toned arm and shook it lightly. Calum sighed and pulled his arm away from my grasp.

"I can't, I left my phone." He told me, making my heart sink.

"What? So we're not going out? Ever?" I asked, my voice cracked in the end, fighting the urge to cry at the moment.
