To the nights we spent

That night, we won. Hurricane and Wez won. I didn't actually have my revenge, but still we won. The lady luck is beside me, not just me but Me and Walter. After the announcement of winners, we go back to the stage and Selene talked to me.

"Hey, You did great tonight, Uuwi na kami ni Aiden ha? Ikaw? Umuwi ka na rin! Wag ka papagabi, mag ingat ka sa daan." Selene smiled at me, i nodded at her and patted her back. Aiden salute to me as a sign of saying goodbye.

I turned my back, seeing Walter staring at me, patiently waiting. "Ano? G pa ba? Ready ko na ba sasakyan?" He's excited about this roadtrip thingy, it is 12:30 in the midnight and yet, he still looks so fresh! "CR lang ako, magpapalit ng damit." Pinakita ko sakanya ang bag ko na may laman na sweater.

He nodded and smiled. I make my way to the CR, marami nga akong nakasalubong at sinabing "Congrats" tinatanguan ko sila at nginitian. When i finally reached the CR, no one is there. Probably they are going to their houses 'to rest. It's been a long night.

I entered the cubicle, i changed my clothes into my sweater. I want it to become comfortable so i can freely move. Nung patapos na ako sa cr, narinig ko ang pintuan na bumukas, making me heared some unnecessary conversation.

"Do you think hurricane deserves to win? Parang dekorasyon lang sila kanina dun nung nagkuhaan ng picture kasama ang WEZ." They both chuckled. What? Dekorasyon? We deserved the spot! We worked on it!

"True, like sabit lang sila lalo na si Qezia? Tapos narurumor pa siya na girlfriend raw ni Walter? Sa mukha niyang yun? Walang tabla." Lumabas na ako ng cubicle, napatingin sila sakin. The shock on their eyes are vivid, you can even see the guilt! Now they're both guilty? I heared everything, hun.

"What? Decoration? Fyi Miss, we worked hard for our spot. If you are in our place, showing your talents, giving the judges what they want and if you 've win it, and they say that you don't deserve the freaking spot? What would you feel? Are you happy about it?" I raised my eyebrow, iniwas naman nila ang tingin sakin, i crossed my arms and continued what i say, "You will feel bad right? and i noticed, you are both Women! You are criticizing me! Me and my Friends! Are you just bringing the confidence of your other half? You should empower girls! Not bringing them down, and piece of advice? start implying of what i just said into their daily lives, malay mo may ambag pa ako sainyo, hindi kagaya niyo."  I started turning my back on them, they look so pissed.

"And one thing, you want to know if i'm Walter's girlfriend? Yes love, i will be." I winked at them, as as soon as i closed the door, i heared them frustrated, they kept telling themselves that it's fine, but in reality? Totally not right.

I heaved a sigh, inayos ko ang buhok ko at ang mukha ko, i put a extra liptint so i won't look pale. I saw Walter waiting, smiling like a freaking idiot.

"Oy, tara na." Kinalabit ko siya, nilingon niya naman ako at nagumpisa maglakad. We just silently walked, i walked beside him, his hands in both pockets looking straight at the road.

"This is my car, binigay 'to sakin ni Papa nung nag birthday ako, nung mabait pa sila sakin." Tumawa pa siya, tinignan ko ang kotse niya. It is the Mercedes-Benz. "It looks good, it's midnight, tara na. Punta tayo Tagaytay."

Pinagbuksan niya ako ng pintuan, knowing him, a Gentleman. He would do that for sure, i smiled at him and then he gestured his hands so i can enter. I did what he said, then he turned around and went to the other side, entering the Driver Seat.

I wonder, ano yung sinabing niya na nung "mabait pa sila sakin." Is he being mistreated? I know that his not in good terms with his family, but i don't want to meddle other's persons life just to feed my curiosity.
