Beep, beep, beep, beep.
I heard the constant beeping. Gosh it was annoying. It wouldn't stop.
My eyelids were heavy. It was a struggle to open them. I groaned as I moved my hands to my face.
My limbs felt like they were being weighted down, everything was so heavy.
I felt my face and rubbed my eyes after I located them.
My vision was blurry but slowly making its way back to normal.
I saw my brothers all sleeping around the room I was in. It looked like a hospital. The beeping was my heart rate. Hm maybe if my heart stopped the beeping would. Just kidding I wouldn't stop my heart for that but the noise was really bothering me.
My father laid in the chair with his hands crossed, asleep. While my brothers were sprawled our everywhere.
Jax was even here. He sat on the floor, leaned against the wall.
Ryan was on the foot of my bed fast asleep. I kicked him to try and wake him up. He fell of the bed with a groan.
"Ow" he whined rubbing his butt.
"Sorry. Water?" I asked. My throat was raspy and hurt. I needed something to drink.
He handed me a cup of water and helped me sip it.
"How you feeling?" He asked climbing into bed next to me.
"Like shit. What happened?" I rolled my eyes.
"I think dad should probably talk to you about that." He scratched the back of his neck.
Dad then grumbled awake.
"What's all the noise?" He asked not realizing I was awake.
"Dad" Ryan said trying to get his attention.
"Raven! How are you feeling?" He stood quickly before coming to sit on the end of the hospital bed.
"Like I got hit by a bus" I laughed dryly.
The other boys then began to wake up.
My brothers surrounded my bed all asking questions.
"Everyone stop! What happened?" I asked.
I stared at Jax who stood straight in front of me.
"You passed out. You have been out for around 5 hours." He paused looking apprehensive about what he would say next. "Raven, why didn't you tell us?" My father asked quietly.
5 hours? Jeez
"Tell you what?" I asked calmly.
"Raven you have broken ribs and bruises all over your body." I froze as he looked at me with worry. I didn't know what he thought happened to me but I didn't want to talk about this.
My brothers all had the same expression. Everyone was staring at me, expecting me to say something.
"I'm not talking about this right now. How long until I can leave?" I asked coldly.
"Raven" Eli trailed off quietly with a pleading look.
I shook my head before pressing the red button on the remote next to me. If my brothers weren't going to give me answers, the doctor would.
A few seconds later a doctor walked in the room. He was an older man white white hair and glasses. He wore a pair of khakis and a large white coat.
"Hi Raven, how you feeling?" He asked.
"Fine. How long am I in here?" I asked cutting straight to the chase.
"Well you have two broken ribs, an infected cut, you are very malnourished, and some more issues." He starts
"Yeah and what does that have to do with anything?" I asked with a cold expression. I didn't need their help. Now that I have meds and stuff, I can deal with it myself.
"You have to stay here for the next three days." He says looking at his clip board.
"That's bullshit. I'm fine." I spat.
"Raven you are anything but fine." He said before walking out.
I scoffed before turning back to my family. They all looked at me sadly.
"Oh my gosh, stop with the fucking pity party." I said getting annoyed. I didn't need their bullshit pity.
"Language" Eli corrected.
"Yeah yeah" I rolled my eyes.
"You passed out in first period. I took you to the nurses office but she said she had to call an ambulance." Jax's deep voice said.
"Thank you, for everything." I said meaning it. He didn't have to come here and stay with me.
"No problem. I just wanted to check up on you but I will leave you with your family. I will see you soon. Get better Raven" He sent a soft smile before walking out with his hands in his leather jacket.
"Bye" I called out.
"Remember our rule about no boys? That still stands. If he didn't help you we would have beat him up." Will pointed his finger.
"You beat him up and I will make sure you get the same." I said coldly.
"What would you be able to do to me?" Will asked laughing.
"Oh you do not want to find out." I smirked evilly.
"RAVEN!" I heard yelling coming from down the hall.
I looked forwards the door with confusion.
Daniel then bursted in, out of breath.
"Are you okay? What happened?" He worriedly started rambling grabbing my face to look at me.
"Danny, relax. I'm fine." I sighed.
"Raven, you know what this means right?" He quietly asked.
I knew exactly what he meant. I had to explain.
I nodded at him.
"I will be with you the whole time." He reassured me.
I looked around at my family who watched curiously.
This would not be good.
They then asked the question I was waiting for.
"Raven. What happened to you?"
