Three months later...

"You're joking, right?"

Janean stared at her two treasured stars in disbelief.

Tae and Tee sat in the two guest chairs placed in front of Janean's sophisticated mahogany work desk. They had mild looks on their faces, taking in the manager's response to their declaration.

"You know I would never joke about things like this, Janean." Tae leaned back in the plush upholstered chair and folded his arms on his chest.

Janean shifted her gaze to Tee as if asking him to confirm. She leaned forward trying to intimidate the younger man since she had lost the ability to use that power on the other man.

Tee glanced back, unfazed, and nodded slowly.

"I don't understand," Janean shook her head, leaning back on her throne again, crossing her feet. "When did this happen?" She waved her hand trying to act nonchalant but her hand shook killing the effect.

"Does it matter?" Tae sighed. "We just wanted you to know."

She opened and closed her mouth, rummaging her brain for a comeback. She glared down at the younger man mentally forcing him to laugh and declare all she heard now was nothing but one of his pranks.

None of that happened.

Finally, she threw her hands up, abandoning all the pretense of being calm and collected.

"Wow, Tae!" She laughed without humor. "You two went and did the one thing I prohibited you to do."

"But, Khu mae, you always said that you are open-minded about all kinds of love?" Tee frowned genuinely surprised.

"I am open-minded," she gritted out. "I just can't watch you destroy everything I have build up for you two."

"But—"

She rudely interrupted him.

"What were you thinking? That this is another boys' love story?" She snorted. "Those things only happen in drama. People are not easily accepting in real life."

"Well, we are not going to advertise what we are," Tae said cautiously. "We are not going to go open and say that Tee and I are dating for real. We thought you should know about us. In case...."

"In case?" Janean interrupted. She looked less worked up now. Tae's words held decisiveness. She knew she couldn't bully them into doing her bedding anymore. It's out of her hand now.

"In case you hear it from someone else," Tae completed.

"Have you thought about this clearly?" She worried her bottom lip. "The secrecy can ruin a relationship worse than anything else. Do you want me to bring out examples?"

"Don't worry, mae," Tee smiled. "P'Tae and I will be careful. We too are not comfortable with going public at the moment. We like privacy more than anything."
