A/N: HAHAHSHAHA fun fact: I originally planned for Nezetta and Yuno to be together at this point of the story, but I decided to rewrite this chapter to further delve deeper into Nezetta's curse and how she may be an important asset for the upcoming dilemmas of the story arc

Nezetta's PoV

"You mean to say that a member of the Golden Dawn and a member of the Royal House Silva has been helping us the entire day?!"

This is definitely not how I planned to spend the rest of the day.

If only I remembered that Hage is actually Yuno and Asta's hometown.

"The silver hair, how did I not notice?" Sister Lily weeps alongside Father.

I stood between Noelle and Yuno, who went out of their way making sure that I don't lift anything else for the rest of the day. I can still feel Noelle's eyes glaring at me, so I did my best not to look at her direction and whistled innocently.

Honestly, I feel like I was being treated like a scolded child. Noelle gave me an hour long lecture about how I should take better care of myself and that I should look out for myself too.

I doubt that's the end of me hearing it. I'll never be able to live this down with Noelle acting like a mother to me.

It wasn't fair. I should be the one acting motherly towards her. I am older.

Just for a year, but it's something.

"You idiots, this is why I left my robe back in headquarters." I sigh.

"This is why Captain Vangeance originally did not allow you to take a day-off." Yuno says back.

I flinched.

"He's not the boss of me."

"He technically is."

"Maybe he is, but do I care?"

"No,"

"Exactly,"

"You two do nothing but bicker, just kiss already." Noelle smirked. "Oh, right. You already did."

Oh, she really went there.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, LITTLE GIRL?!" My fists powered up almost instantly, burning off the bandages wrapped around them because of the amount of mana I was releasing. There was not an ounce of pain I felt now that I was filled with adrenaline.

Noelle pushed my button more by clicking her tongue out as Asta imitated a kissy face behind her. Nero, well, she was watching the scene unfold.

Those idiots, they think they're funny?

"I will kill the two of you and toss your bodies down the nearest lake." I scowl.

"Doesn't change the fact that you kissed."

"NOELLE!"

"E-eh? You're Yuno's girlfriend?!" Father and Sister Lily looked at me in shock. I turned away from my annoying sister and her crush, a look of disbelief displayed on my own face.

"W-w-w-what?! No! Yuno, say something!" I punched his shoulder lightly in hopes of having him save us from this situation, but he only turns away with a faint blush. Bell glared down at me and began pulling at my hair.

"YUNO!"

At the end of the day, Father and Sister Lily invited us to dinner with the rest of the church children. There were a lot of villagers from outside the church offering tatoes as their way of thanking Asta and Yuno as Noelle and I set the table.
